"Don't be careless. Not a single trace of blood can remain."
Uchiha Hikari stood gracefully atop a towering rock, directing the Gold and Silver Brothers in cleaning up the battlefield.
"What I want is for them to vanish without a trace, for the Kumo leadership to never find them. Logically, this should have been a covert operation." She wrinkled her delicate little nose, sweeping a somewhat exasperated gaze over the half-destroyed Kaminari no Kyou.
"How did it end up like this?"
Gold Horn responded in a muffled voice, "Sorry, master. We'll be more careful next time."
"This old bastard is way too tough. Without unleashing our full power, there's no way we could take him down." Silver Horn tossed the corpse on his shoulder onto the pile of bodies and lazily raised his head. "Don't worry, Master. We'll just claim it was a tailed beast's rampage. No one will suspect a thing."
"Sigh..." Hikari couldn't help but facepalm. She knew that if it were Kamihane, he would've ended the fight the moment he landed a sneak attack.
Sensing her displeasure, Gold Horn immediately walked over and nudged his brother with his shoulder. Silver Horn got the hint and promptly shut up, his movements to clean up the bodies becoming much more efficient.
This was all thanks to Hikari's ocular technique, 'Yachigatana'.
Six years ago, on Kamihane's suggestion, the two brothers were struck by 'Yachigatana' and branded with a seal. This seal was directly imprinted on their souls and would never disappear unless they possessed the power of all creation, or Hikari herself removed the seal.
From then on, the chakra of the two brothers was entirely under Hikari's control, to be summoned and used at will, disregarding distance and spatial transfer.
Over the course of several years, Hikari indirectly invaded the mental realms of the Gold and Silver Brothers through seals, collecting fragments of their memories, and performing operations such as mixing, deleting, and modifying them. Through persistent effort, Hikari finally took control of their minds, turning them completely into her own puppets.
In the Raikage's office, behind the desk, a burly man with a topknot, a rugged appearance, and a full beard sized up Uchiha Hikari, narrowing his eyes slightly.
"Just a new friend we've made," Gold Horn said nonchalantly.
"Friends?" The burly man looked skeptical. "You two brothers actually made friends outside the village?"
"Hey, A, even though you're the acting Raikage now, not even the Raikage himself can dictate who we befriend, right?" Silver Horn grinned, stepping forward alongside Gold Horn.
