I grinned. "Maybe. But if I can't handle this, how am I supposed to fight Pyrion?"

Then, one by one, they nodded.
Frostfang smirked. "Don't cry if I knock you out."
Zarathorak gave a dry chuckle. "We'll do our best not to kill you. Probably."
Ingi cracked his knuckles. "Try not to burn the ground when you retaliate."
I looked up one last time. Luviyah's eyes met mine through the barrier. She didn't speak, but I could feel the worry in her gaze… and the trust.
"Let's begin," I said quietly.
The air shifted.
