Chapter 27 - Letting Hatchling Taste a Sip of Real World.

"Teacher, do you have any clothes left?" All of a sudden, Arash came in front of Yu Jing, rubbing the back of his head. "All the other clothes you gave me are torn apart."

Yu Jing returned from his inspection and shifted his focus to Arash.

Looking at Arash, who only had short pants to cover his private parts made Yu Jing himself embarrassed. Because he liked this quiet and peaceful place, he never set foot outside of his compound except when hunting for food. As Arash grew bigger, Yu Jing just threw his spare clothes at him. However, who knew his dear disciple was a martial arts addict. He would rather spend his time practicing martial arts than cultivating. Yet only through this was he able to reach the 6th Stage Qi Refinement Realm. He could be considered a genius.

For martial addicts like him, normal clothes aren't suited. He needs special clothes specially made for cultivators.

Thinking about it properly, Yu Jing also needed some clothes and a few pieces of furniture.

"Arash, today we will go out to visit the nearest possible town or city."

"Oh!" Arash's face brightened up. Despite being a teenager, he had little to no contact with anyone except Yu Jing. He wants to see the world properly. He is tired of hearing stories from Yu Jing.

"But."

"But?" Suddenly, Arash was left confused.

A blue portal opened beside him, which was very familiar to Arash. He had seen his teacher enter it a few times. He wanted to know what was inside this portal. Unfortunately, no matter how many times he asked, Yu Jing didn't answer him.

"You always wanted to know what was inside this portal. Now, you can go and see it for yourself. Remember not to disappoint teacher." An innocent smile radiated from Yu Jing as he pointed at the portal beside him.

"I… okay, teacher. I will not disappoint you." Arash didn't question Yu Jing further and jumped straight into the portal.

Just as Arash disappeared from his sight, a devilish grin appeared on Yu Jing's face. 'My dear disciple. Don't pee your pants early. Try to accommodate the best you can with the environment, because from now on this will be your home.'

Darky, who has also grown and gained tons of weight—like a potato sack—shivered seeing Yu Jing's behavior. The more time passes, the more he feels his master's master is a bit odd.

Meanwhile, inside the dungeon.

Arash landed at the same spot as his teacher did. He also saw and felt the world around him. The old woman and dozens of children are looking up to him with eyes brimming with hope.

Then a digital screen appeared before him, frightening him. However, he quickly became accustomed to it.

"I have to defend this city against that army?" Arash was left speechless. He looked ahead at the demon army that was approaching rapidly. He already felt many demons as strong as him in the first wave; there were even many stronger than him. And that is only at the Qi Refinement Realm. There were many ten times stronger than these behind.

"Did teacher throw me here to die?" Arash began to doubt Yu Jing. Was everything Yu Jing did for him fake? Was it all a lie to deceive him? But for what?

His body turned cold as fear took over his body. Fighting the demon army ahead of him only means one thing—death.

All of a sudden, he looked behind him, meeting the young, piercing gazes filled with hope. He experienced something in his heart that he never felt before. He felt trust and belief in him, which no one ever gave him.

Gradually, a smile appeared on his face. "Am I stupid? Teacher asked me to do my best. I will do my best. He is surely watching over me!"

Thad!

Jumping down and landing in front of the entrance, Arash straightened his back and cracked his knuckles. "And how can I back away when there are people who have laid down their hopes and dreams on me!"

Outside the dungeon.

In relish, Yu Jing, who was watching Arash through a screen, almost spit out the tea in his mouth.

"My disciple is unbelievable." Yu Jing was left speechless.

Because he knew he wouldn't actually die inside the dungeon, he was quickly able to face the demons with courage in his heart.

But Arash didn't have any prior knowledge of the dungeon. He entered the dungeon blind.

"Well, as expected of my disciple." Yu Jing became proud of Arash and continued drinking his tea.

Inside the dungeon.

Arash relentlessly fought against the demons. Having no way of accessing his weapons, he fought with his hands. Fortunately for Arash, he practiced almost everything. From archery to boxing, he has honed them at least to their basic level.

Masking his fist with his Spiritual Qi, he punched every demon in front of him away. Nonetheless, he had no personal warfare experience. Resulting in him getting injured quickly.

Despite trying his best to dodge and block the attacks, he constantly began to get injured. The sheer number overwhelmed his body and mind.

Eventually, his body gave up and came under a demon's clutches.

"Hah, hah, hah…." Arash's body was riddled with scars, arms and legs broken. He lost his left eye while also losing the vision in his right eye. His body was drenched in his and demons' blood.

Graaa!

Arash paid no heed to the demons roaring at him. Not thinking about the children inside the city. Not thinking about his condition.

The only thing running in his head was, will his teacher come?

Will he come to save him?

Unfortunately, no one was there to answer him.

All of a sudden, a demon bigger than the surrounding ones came and grabbed hold of Arash's entire scalp with one hand while the other hand choked his neck.

RAHH!

The demon ripped Arash's head with his spine still attached to his head.

Then it lifted Arash's severed head and roared with glory.

Announcing their victory against a weak and brave human.
