CH - 35 - The Delusional Boy
"What-what was that?" Everyone jolted by that sharp and soul-shivering screech.
It was a lot different from the screams of those common frostborns.
"Liam!!" Mia moved beside Riley near the glass door.
But her behavior was yet again odd, it was almost expressionless.
BAM
Suddenly a hand slammed over the door, but it wasn't Liam but a frostborn.
GRAAAAGHH
The frostborn screamed right at the face of Riley and Mia, they both flinched and instinctively took a few steps back.
"Liam." Tears began to flow from her eyes, she now felt even more guilt towards Ava and Liam.
But suddenly something slammed onto the head of that frostborn, throwing it away from the door.
"Open up," Liam's voice rang.
Hearing his voice both Mia and Riley cheered up and Mia who was standing near the glass door opened it up.
Liam entered the door and closed it off, but just as he entered Mia hugged him from behind.
"Liam," she said softly as she gripped him more tightly.
