"What the hell are you playing at, Ray?" Kiera's voice dripped with anger.
She had no time for games. She had a wedding to plan but her Uncle failed to give her one ounce of breathing space and it was getting on her nerves.
Ray leaned back with a smug smile playing on his lips.
"Even if it wasn't me, did you really think l'd let you control Campbell Group all by yourself?" Kiera's eyes flashed with rage.
That was it. He was hell-bent on seeing her suffer. It was like he derived some kind of joy from it.
Confusion and anger danced in Kiera's eyes, "Why? Why this animosity towards me? We could've worked together and improved the company. Why this betrayal?"
Ray's face darkened. He got up, pacing around the room, his gaze hardening.
"It's not just about you, Kiera. It's an old story. It's about history, about the previous generation."
