Edlin was angry because he had found out that the one who led the bandits' attack and who had captured Zack and Edlin was the same shadow — and he was standing right in front of him.
Edlin - So it was you. Today, you're finished.
Shadow Karl - You think you can kill me? Even if you've become a little stronger, you still can't defeat me.
Edlin - Time will tell.
As soon as he said that, Edlin attacked Shadow Karl.
Both were out for each other's blood. They were fighting so fiercely that no ordinary person could even see them.
Shadow Karl - Impressive strength.
Edlin was matching Shadow Karl blow for blow. He was no longer himself — he had lost control. Rage had taken over him and he was unstoppable.
Joshua - At this point, stopping Edlin is almost impossible.
Albert - Why?
Joshua - I don't know why, but whenever Edlin gets angry, his eyes start glowing green. He loses control, and not just that — he becomes twice as powerful. Sometimes he even attacks his own friends.
Albert - Hmm, this is exactly what happened with Khanda, just like Lord Zack said. So this is Edlin's evil side. Lord Zack was right. If Edlin fights me in this form, it would be hard to say who would win.
At this point, Edlin began to overpower Shadow Karl.
Shadow Karl was thinking to himself:

It was Albert's attack. He struck the black smoke, and a voice cried out from it.
"No! How is this possible?"
The smoke vanished, and a black stone dropped from it and shattered.
Edlin had come back to his senses.
Edlin - What was that, Albert?
Albert - Sir Strider told me that shadows can only be killed either in their physical form or in their smoke form. When I saw it, I struck immediately.
Joshua - Man, Albert — you always end up being the MVP.
Albert - Edlin, how did you manage to regain control?
Edlin - I don't know. Ever since I took that medicine, I've been using a completely different kind of power. I need to go home and talk to my father.
While they were talking, suddenly, a man from behind fired an arrow that hit Joshua in the back.
But before anyone could react, someone appeared from behind and beheaded the attacker.
And it was none other than Dong.
Dong - Took you long enough, brothers.
Right after saying that, Dong collapses to the ground and falls unconscious.
