Chapter 112 - Chapter 112

"Akio is right. At this stage, we're short on talent, and there's truly no one more suitable for the position of Commissioner of the Tenryou Commission than you," Raiden Makoto said. "You'll act as the acting commissioner for now. If we find someone more suitable in the future, we'll consider it."

"..." After hearing Akio and Raiden Makoto's words, Kujou Sara fell silent for a moment before nodding. "Sara will not disappoint Lord Akio and the Raiden Shogun."

"Good," Raiden Makoto nodded, clearly satisfied. She then drafted an official appointment document and stamped it with her seal.

"Take this and handle the necessary procedures," she said, handing the document to Kujou Sara.

"Your subordinate takes her leave," Kujou Sara bowed and then turned to leave Tenshukaku.

"These matters are finally coming to an end. These parasites have been eradicated at last," Raiden Makoto sighed. "Killing so many people means my workload is about to increase again."

"They were just a bunch of useless trash. Killing them was no loss," Yae Miko said with a dismissive wave.

"Saiguu, is there something you wanted to talk to me about?" Akio turned to Kitsune Saiguu. She had been acting a bit strange these past few days, as if she had something on her mind.

"Yes..." Kitsune Saiguu nodded, then extended her hand. A purple orb of light appeared before everyone.

"What's this?" Akio asked, puzzled.

"You might not believe it, but this is Hanachirusato," Kitsune Saiguu explained.

"Huh?" Yae Miko was taken aback. "Wait, when Akio resurrected you, wasn't Hanachirusato just you?"

"That's not entirely wrong," Kitsune Saiguu nodded. "I am Hanachirusato, but Hanachirusato isn't just me."

"During the centuries I was tainted by impurity, Hanachirusato carried my memories and consciousness, but she also developed her own consciousness."

"So when Akio resurrected you, he only brought back your consciousness?" Yae Miko thought for a moment and understood. "And this remnant is Hanachirusato's consciousness?"

"Exactly. Hanachirusato is special. She's an independent individual, but she likely still retains my memories," Kitsune Saiguu nodded, then looked at Akio. "Akio, I want to ask you to resurrect Hanachirusato."

"I've already thought it through. After resurrecting her, she'll become your exclusive shrine maiden. She possesses my power and memories," Kitsune Saiguu winked. "You get what I mean, right, Akio?"

"You sly fox," Yae Miko rolled her eyes, also turning to look at Akio.

"Of course, I can do that. Let me take a look at her consciousness," Akio nodded.

Taking the purple orb from Kitsune Saiguu, Akio gently sensed the fragile consciousness within.

"It's definitely possible to resurrect her," Akio said. "And for me, it's quite simple now. I don't even need the Abyss Flower."

Akio's power over life and death enveloped Hanachirusato's consciousness. A surge of life energy began to shape a delicate, graceful figure, which slowly materialized in Akio's arms.

This body was slightly different from Kitsune Saiguu's. She had long, jet-black hair and a face that was strikingly beautiful, resembling Kitsune Saiguu by about seventy or eighty percent. However, she lacked some of Kitsune Saiguu's allure, instead exuding a gentle elegance.

As the life energy dissipated, the figure in Akio's arms was like a flawless piece of jade, resembling a sleeping beauty.

"Is this Hanachirusato? She doesn't look like you. I thought she'd be identical, like the Raiden Shogun and Ei," Yae Miko remarked, examining Hanachirusato.

"Hanachirusato has her own consciousness and is an independent existence. It's better that she's not exactly like me," Kitsune Saiguu nodded.

"Mmm..." The beauty in Akio's arms let out a soft murmur, then opened her eyes. Her clear, bright eyes seemed to hold the stars themselves.

The moment she saw Akio, her eyes filled with adoration. "Lord Akio~"

"Whoa, why does the atmosphere feel a bit off?" Yae Miko, Kitsune Saiguu, and Raiden Makoto exchanged glances. Kitsune Saiguu hadn't been this clingy when she was resurrected.

"System, explain. Why is Hanachirusato so attached to me?" Akio found it strange and called out to the system.

"It's normal. Hanachirusato, as a counterpart to Kitsune Saiguu, retains her memories and abilities but is primarily guided by her own consciousness," the system explained. "Her consciousness was born to resist impurity. Aside from that, she's had no other experiences, making her pure-hearted. She has memories of you resurrecting Kitsune Saiguu, and now that you've resurrected her, combined with your status as Teyvat's Most Devoted, congratulations, Master. You've gained a shrine maiden who will do anything for you."

"666!" Akio thought to himself. Was this what it felt like to win without even trying?

"Akio~" Hanachirusato's voice brought Akio back to reality. He looked at her and said, "Hanachirusato, from now on, you'll be my exclusive little shrine maiden, understand?"

"Mhm," Hanachirusato nodded eagerly. She was more than willing. Her mission to resist impurity was complete, and serving Akio would now be her new purpose.

"Hanachirusato, come down for a moment," Yae Miko pulled her out of Akio's arms and handed her a shrine maiden outfit. It wouldn't do for her to be naked, even if everyone present except Akio was a woman.

Hanachirusato's figure was almost identical to Kitsune Saiguu's, so the shrine maiden outfit fit her perfectly. Dressed in the red and white robes, her gentle beauty reached new heights.

"Tsk tsk, what a charming little shrine maiden! Akio, you're a lucky man," Yae Miko teased.

"Miko, don't tease me," Hanachirusato said, then walked over to Akio, gently pushing Rosalyne aside to take over massaging his shoulders.

"???" Rosalyne stared in confusion. Seriously? You pushed me aside just to do this? If you're doing all the work, what's left for me? But if you're handling it, doesn't that mean I get to relax?

"Rosalyne, come here and massage my legs," Akio didn't want Rosalyne to be idle. He was still working on her obedience.

After days of training, Rosalyne had become much more compliant, no longer as arrogant as before. Perhaps it was for the sake of the Gnosis, or perhaps she simply didn't dare act out in front of a god.

"..." Rosalyne had thought she was off the hook, but it seemed she'd celebrated too soon. However, she didn't dare disobey Akio and obediently knelt before him, gently massaging his legs.

"Ah~ This is the life!" Akio was in high spirits. He'd dealt with all the troublemakers plaguing the nation, and now he had beauties by his side.
