Leah knew she had a stubborn streak that led her to dead ends, and feeling frustrated, she called Griffith Squire.
It took a long time for Griffith to answer, and the noise in the background was evident. His lazy, sensual voice slowly flowed through, "What's up?"
"What did you say to Ignatius Leclair before?"
Griffith raised a sharp brow and chuckled languidly, "Just some ambiguous things here and there. Why, has Ignatius come to demand an explanation?"
"Griffith Squire, did you tell people about Delphine having a child? Are you out of your damn mind?" Leah cursed angrily.
There weren't many people who knew about this.
"Call me 'big brother,' Leah Squire." Griffith's voice dipped lower, his displeasure evident. "This kind of thing can't stay hidden forever. People are bound to find out eventually. And anyway, that man has been exerting so much pressure on Delphine—serves him right if he loses it."
