After finishing the phone call with Easton Holmes, Lily Turner made an excuse to leave Bella Carter's house. When she reached the gate of the yard, she didn't rush to open the door but instead stood there, waiting for Luke Crowe to bring her the key.

She thought that Luke might have been delayed by something on the way, so she pushed open the door and walked into the yard. Sitting down on the stone bench, she waited for Luke.
