The sky stretched clear and cloudless for miles, the sun shining warmly, with a gentle breeze stirring the endless prairie.
A small rabbit hopped through the grass, twitching its nose, when it suddenly froze—sensing something.
It lifted its head, ears perked.
In the distance, at the edge of the grassland, a dark mass appeared, moving swiftly.
A sea of figures marched forward in formation.
The rabbit didn't hesitate. It bolted.
The approaching mass was none other than Konoha's ninja forces—a disciplined unit sprinting forward with precision.
Each ninja moved in perfect sync, their arms swept back in the signature shinobi sprint.
Except for one.
Among them, Sakiya was the only odd one out.
Instead of the sleek, aerodynamic posture everyone else used, she ran in small, bouncy steps, her movement almost comically out of place.
Yet, as she observed the others, she couldn't help but think...
Why do ninjas run like that?
Was it really about reducing wind resistance?
Her mind buzzed with curiosity. Keeping her upper body still, she let her feet pick up speed, her small hands tapping her chin as she pondered.
It did seem to cut down some air resistance...
And if you were fast enough...
Maybe—just maybe—it actually was more efficient.
As Konoha's forces advanced, the movement sent birds scattering and animals fleeing in all directions.
In a hidden corner, Zetsu emerged from the ground, his eyes scanning the marching troops in silence.
He searched through the crowd, his gaze locking onto a single girl almost immediately.
It wasn't difficult.
She stood out too much.
While every other ninja sprinted in the standard posture, she bounced along with an odd little jog.
While the rest wore protective ninja vests, she was dressed in civilian fabric—offering no defense and looking completely unsuited for combat.
There you are.
Zetsu smirked.
This was exactly the person he had come to find.
This girl had interfered with their plans too many times.
She was an undeniable threat. If she hadn't been born a civilian, he would have assumed she was a direct descendant of the Sage of Six Paths.
Her chakra—so vast and powerful—was like something from the past.
The very idea that a civilian ninja could possess such potential was unsettling.
As Zetsu continued observing Konoha's forces, he also searched for an opportunity—a moment when this girl might be alone.
He had already gathered information on the other villages.
Now, his focus was on her.
He needed to find her weakness.
And, while he was at it, he would collect intel on Konoha's army.
---
Meanwhile, as she ran, Sakiya felt something.
Her lips pursed in annoyance.
"Ugh, what a pest. That creepy stalker just won't quit."
Beside her, Ino gave her a puzzled look.
"What are you talking about?"
Sakiya sighed, her tone flat.
"Nothing. Just being watched by some slimy creep."
Ino blinked.
What?
That wasn't exactly a minor thing.
If someone was spying on them, shouldn't they say something?
But before she could press for details, Sakiya simply shrugged it off, and Ino decided not to push it further.
With no time to waste, the army pressed forward.
The journey was long, but after some time, they finally arrived at the designated base camp.
And, of course... the "creepy stalker" had followed them the whole way.
As night fell, Sakiya sat inside her tent, resting her chin on her hands.
She was restless.
Uncomfortable.
That guy was still watching.
His presence lingered—always there.
After what felt like forever, Sakiya finally snapped. She threw up both hands, clenching them into little claws and shaking them wildly in the air.
"I can't take it anymore!"
Her eyes flashed red, her entire presence turning fierce.
"I'm dealing with this NOW!"
With that, she marched out of the tent, radiating determination.
Just as she stepped outside, Ino was returning.
She blinked at Sakiya, immediately sensing something was off.
"Where are you going?"
Ino took a closer look.
Sakiya's cheeks were puffed up in frustration, and—more importantly—she wasn't wearing her blindfold.
That never happened.
A bad feeling crept up Ino's spine.
Sakiya glared at her.
"Don't stop me! I'm going to kill that creepy stalker! I'm sick of him!"
"...Creepy stalker?"
Ino hesitated. "Wait, are you serious? And—" She pointed at Sakiya's bare left eye.
"I thought if you didn't wear that, the world would, you know… end?"
Sakiya paused for half a second.
Then:
"I don't care! If the world ends, so be it! But I'm taking him down first!"
With that, she stormed off.
---
More than a hundred meters away, Zetsu tensed.
Something wasn't right.
"...Did she notice me?"
He stayed perfectly still, watching.
Then, he saw it.
Sakiya was walking straight toward him.
Zetsu's unease deepened.
"No way. There's no way she actually—"
Her pace quickened.
Her expression darkened.
"She REALLY sees me!?"
Zetsu didn't wait.
He vanished into the earth.
He always had faith in his escape skills—he could move faster underground than anyone could above it.
But—
"Don't even think about running!" Sakiya growled.
Her hand shot forward.
A massive glowing sigil erupted across the ground, casting radiant light over the entire camp.
In the next instant—
Her chakra exploded.
The very earth cracked.
Wind pressure spiraled around her.
She lifted her hand—
And in her palm, a tiny orb of blinding golden light appeared—like a miniature sun.
"The ultimate destructive technique!"
The energy around her surged violently.
Ino froze.
She didn't know what Sakiya was about to do—but this chakra—
It was stronger than anything she'd ever felt before.
It was terrifying.
Meanwhile, the rest of the camp stirred.
Two ninja rushed outside.
"What's going on!?"
"Are we under attack!?"
Far underground, Zetsu was in full panic.
He had fled hundreds of meters in seconds—yet the deadly chakra still loomed over him.
It was the first time in his existence that he had ever felt this level of danger.
"What the hell kind of technique is this!?"
His usual composure shattered.
"I have to run—faster!"
And with that, Zetsu desperately accelerated his escape.
The chakra sphere in Sakiya's hand had reached an utterly terrifying level.
The space around it warped from the sheer density of energy.
Neji, who had activated his Byakugan, stared in disbelief.
In his vision—it was like looking directly at the sun.
Every sensory-type ninja in the camp felt it too.
Not just chakra—a sun.
And its radiance was stronger than all of them combined.
The more they understood, the more insignificant they felt.
Sweat dripped down Neji's face.
"What... what the hell is this?"
Some ninjas even questioned if what they were seeing was real.
"Is this really something a human can produce...?"
—
Meanwhile, Ino fought against the intense wind pressure as she rushed toward Sakiya.
"SAKIYA! STOP!" she shouted. "Do you really want to destroy the world!?"
Sakiya clenched the glowing sphere in her hand, her chakra instinctively wrapping around Ino to shield her.
"I just want to destroy that stalker!"
Ino's eye twitched.
She glanced at the literal miniature sun still burning in Sakiya's palm.
Enough of this.
With a swift movement—she chopped Sakiya in the chest.
THWACK.
Sakiya's breath hitched—and the "sun" shot out of her hands.
The massive energy vanished from her grip, hurling into the distance.
For a brief second—the camp held its breath.
Then—
The enormous magic circle blinked out of existence.
The overwhelming chakra dissipated.
The tiny sun drifted far away, flickered, and then—poof.
Gone.
—
Sakiya looked devastated.
Tears welled up as she stared at Ino.
"...It got away..."
Meanwhile, Ino was still standing rigid in shock.
Just a moment ago, she was sure they were all doomed.
Yet now—it was like nothing had ever happened.
No fireball.
No light.
No chakra explosion.
For a second, she genuinely wondered if she'd imagined it all.
But—
The cracked ground beneath their feet told her otherwise.
Ino let out a long sigh, rubbed her temple, and then—WHACK.
Another karate chop straight to Sakiya's forehead.
"Ow!—"
Sakiya winced, holding her head, tiny tears forming at the corners of her eyes.
"IDIOT!" Ino fumed. "Stop being so reckless!"
Her frustration boiled over.
"Do you have any idea how insane that technique was!?" she ranted. "And at a time like this!? Were you trying to kill us all!?"
Sakiya flinched under the scolding.
She lowered her head, fidgeting with her fingers.
"...I just wanted to blast that stalker out of hiding," she mumbled.
"And besides... my technique just looks powerful. It's not like it actually has a huge impact radius... I wouldn't hit innocent people..."
She pouted.
"I'm not a child, you know."
Ino stared.
Then she took a deep, slow breath—and smacked Sakiya on the head one last time.
Ino let out a relieved sigh, realizing she had spoken too harshly. But she still needed to make her point.
"Sakiya! You understand, right? Just—next time, don't scare everyone like that. You freaked everyone out. Even Lady Tsunade is going to have a headache over this!"
Sakiya pouted. "Okaaay..."
Tsunade, who had already been alerted to the commotion, stormed into the camp, quickly realizing that Sakiya was behind it. And, as expected, she gave her an earful.
—
Meanwhile, far from the camp, Zetsu had fled nearly ten kilometers before he finally felt the overwhelming death threat disappear.
Only now could he breathe.
Even when he was thousands of meters away, that feeling of imminent doom had lingered.
It almost scared him senseless.
What kind of ability could track him from such a distance!?
Even now, he didn't dare stop. He fled for a few more kilometers before finally pausing, catching his breath.
His mind was still reeling.
"That girl... is terrifying."
A shudder ran through his body as he muttered:
"Her chakra reaction just now… it surpassed Asura's."
And then—his face darkened.
"Surpassed Asura… what if that's not even her limit?"
His expression twisted into pure horror.
"No! This girl… I can't leave her alone!"
The fear gnawed at him.
From all his intelligence gathering, he knew one crucial fact—
That girl is only fifteen.
Zetsu couldn't even begin to imagine how powerful she would become if left unchecked.
"Could she be another Sage of Six Paths…?"
Or worse—
His mind flashed to one possibility.
His mother.
Could this girl somehow be a reincarnation of her chakra?
The thought made his entire being shudder.
But—he quickly dismissed it.
"Mother isn't dead. There's no way her chakra could have reincarnated."
Still—something was wrong. Something about this girl wasn't normal.
Zetsu shook his head and threw those thoughts aside.
"No. This isn't the time for nonsense. I need to figure out how to deal with her."
But how?
Even in hiding, she sensed him.
Her perception abilities were absurdly strong.
"Damn it… this won't be easy."
—
Back at the Ninja Alliance Camp
After getting chewed out by Tsunade, Sakiya was finally released.
Back in her tent, she stretched out on the bed, feeling much better now that the 'creepy stalker' was gone.
At that moment, Ino was changing into her sleepwear. When she saw Sakiya return, she wasn't surprised.
"Sakiya, let this be a lesson. No more reckless nonsense, okay?"
She casually slipped off her vest, revealing her toned figure, then grabbed her pajama top and pulled it on.
Sakiya pouted. "I knooow. But that creepy guy was just too annoying!"
Ino finished changing and turned to look at her curiously.
"Wait… there really was someone spying on us?"
Sakiya nodded firmly. "Of course! That guy totally ran away the moment I fired up my attack."
She crossed her arms, looking smug.
"He probably pissed himself."
"I doubt that." Ino sighed.
Then a thought struck her.
"Wait—did you tell Lady Tsunade about him?"
"Nope."
Sakiya looked at her, pouting in frustration.
"That old hag never gave me a chance to explain!"
Ino sighed, rubbing her temple.
"Sakiya, you can't really blame her. I mean, you did almost blow up the entire camp."
Sakiya huffed.
"Fine. I'll explain tomorrow."
She flopped onto her bed.
"Tonight's probably the only night we'll get proper sleep, anyway."
Ino agreed, lying down beside her.
"Yeah. Let's get some rest."
Sakiya watched her for a second before suddenly crawling closer—then jumped on top of her.
"Gah—!?"
Ino flinched, startled, but quickly caught Sakiya in her arms before she could roll off.
"Geez, Sakiya!"
Sakiya nestled her head against Ino's chest, letting out a content sigh.
Ino groaned. "Sleep properly, will you?"
Sakiya reluctantly stopped squirming and settled in.
"...Ino, we haven't shared a bed in a long time. I missed this."
Ino glanced down at her and gave a small smile.
"Yeah… I guess I missed it too."
But her exhaustion won over, and she yawned.
"Still, we have to wake up early tomorrow. Let's get some sleep."
"Mmm… okay."
And just like that—Sakiya snuggled in closer and quickly drifted off.
