You were off practicing on your techniques' in the middle of the woodlands, carrying the essentials in case of an emergency. In your trance-like state in perfecting a series of hand gestures and swift movements that the sudden rustling of leaves didn't seem to deter you from your training. That is… until you felt a presence looming behind you.

Your instincts kicked in and you swiftly grabbed a hold of their arm and threw the person behind you harshly on the ground, sweeping them effortlessly off their feet. You twisted their arm harshly and added pressure onto their wrist.

You were genuinely not expecting to see a man with green skin. It became apparent that the lock was beginning to cause him discomfort which you hadn't realized. Being so caught up in your own thoughts of his appearance that the man's gruff voice snapped you back to reality.

He glanced out the corner of his eye to you. "Let… me go."

Without much of a second thought, you released him from the lock and gave him some space to stand up. When he stood up in his full height you realized that he was tall—MUCH taller than you had initially thought.

Shit.

You were so small.

You've seen tall people before in your life, but… not this tall and it fascinates you and it also scares you just a little bit. You closed your eyes to calm yourself and with a deep exhale you faced him, and this time he was staring right at your direction.

"Sorry about that." You bowed your head apologetically, "You gave me a good scare, didn't expect to see anyone so far in the woods. Is your arm ok? You did have a rough fall and I might have felt something shift."

He was quiet for a moment, rubbing his wrist where you had him in an almost death grip. There was a crack and then he lowered it to his side seemingly unaffected by it. "Nothings broken. Hmph… strange. You have a lot of strength for such a human."

You narrowed your eyes. "What's that supposed to mean?"

It was clear that he hadn't meant to say that last sentence out-loud from the sudden shift of his gaze and a single drop of sweat appearing on the side of his cheek. He crosses his muscled-toned arms which you noticed at a quick glance had patches of pink on his arms. His eyes scanned the area before landing back to you.

"I suggest you leave while the sun is still up. It's easy to get lost around here, especially at night."

He was right. The moment you looked up and through the small clearings of the trees you saw the soft shades of orange adorning the skies.

"Heh… would you look at that? Time went by fast. Thank you for the— huh?"

Where the tall green man once stood was vacant like he wasn't even standing there. It left you scratching your head for a solid minute trying to make sense of the situation before you had to gather your belongings and trek out of the heavily vegetated forest before the sun began to disappear over the horizon.
