Suddenly, the world around us shifted—like being rolled up and thrown into a completely different space. No warning, no sound, just… gone.
Lana and Amarta, who had just been in front of us, were no longer there.
In a blink, we were inside a strange room: large, bright, with towering ceilings and draped in deep maroon curtains. The air reeked of spices, incense, and something else that made me want to throw up.
Instinctively, I looked left and right.
"Lana?" I muttered quickly. "LANA?!"
No answer.
Lucen stepped forward, eyes wild. "She's not here..."
Kaelith stood still, his jaw clenched tight. But I knew he was angry—furious.

Lucen slammed his fist on the low table in the center of the room, making the ceramic cups on it rattle. "This is insane. The last thing we heard, Amarta said—"
