In Heaven Dou City, two figures dressed in tattered clothes, resembling beggars, walked through the bustling streets. Almost everyone who saw them avoided them, repelled by their disheveled appearance and the palpable killing intent radiating from them, which made people instinctively keep their distance.
These two were none other than Tang Hao and Tang San.
Before long, the father and son arrived at their destination—the Moon Pavilion.
The guards at the entrance of the Moon Pavilion, seeing the two beggars approaching, immediately stepped forward to shoo them away, telling them to go elsewhere to beg.
Tang Hao remained unmoved, while Tang San's eyes flashed with a blood-red light. Using the Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, he swiftly moved between the two guards, extending his hands to grip their necks. With a slight squeeze, he snapped their necks, killing them instantly.
As the two bodies slumped to the ground, Tang San licked his lips, tempted to devour their flesh and blood. However, from inside the Moon Pavilion, a series of panicked cries erupted:
"Murder! Murder!"
After a moment of chaos, a calm and gentle woman's voice rang out:
"Do not panic. This is the Moon Pavilion. No matter how influential someone may be, they would never dare to act recklessly here."
Following the voice, a tall, elegant, and dignified woman descended from the second floor, making her way to the entrance. She first frowned slightly at the sight of the two dead guards, then raised her head to look at Tang San and Tang Hao.
In that instant, her body trembled, her eyes reddening with shock and excitement as she exclaimed:
"Second Brother, it's you."
Tang Hao sighed and nodded. "Yuehua, it's me. I've come to ask for your help, but let's talk inside."
Tang Yuehua immediately agreed, turning to the interior of the Moon Pavilion. Her expression turned cold as she spoke in a detached tone:
"What happened today must not be spoken of outside. Zhang San and Li Si's deaths will be explained as an accident caused by offending a noble in the city. Handle their bodies and return them to their families. Compensate their families with three months' wages as consolation. From now on, they are no longer part of the Moon Pavilion."
Hearing this, the servants and maids all bowed their heads in silent obedience, not daring to utter a word.
Satisfied, Tang Yuehua led Tang Hao and Tang San into the Moon Pavilion, heading to the second floor.
After they left, new guards arrived to remove the bodies of Zhang San and Li Si and take over their duties. This scene was witnessed not only by the servants and maids but also by many students of the Moon Pavilion, as the earlier cries of "Murder!" had startled quite a few.
Xue Ke furrowed her brows, withdrawing her gaze as she thought to herself:
"Those two men were so ruthless, killing without hesitation. Yet, Aunt Yuehua actually called one of them 'Second Brother'..."
---
Meanwhile, in a quiet room on the second floor of the Moon Pavilion, Tang Yuehua looked at Tang Hao with excitement:
"Second Brother, it's been over a decade since you last returned. This time, don't leave again. Big Brother and I have missed you terribly. Back then, Father had no choice but to act as he did. If you're willing to return, Big Brother will find a way to reintegrate you into the sect."
Tang Hao's expression grew distant for a moment before he shook his head. "I've never blamed Father. What happened back then was entirely my fault. This time, I've returned with no intention of leaving. This is my son, Tang San."
"He's just returned from Slaughter City. Yuehua, I need you to help temper his temperament and internalize his killing intent. When the time is right, I'll take him back to the sect to atone for our sins."
"At the same time, the Spirit Hall has pushed the Clear Sky Sect too far, forcing the once-greatest sect in the world into seclusion. This grudge must be avenged."
"Once we return to the sect, we will atone for our sins and serve as the sect's vanguard, leading it out of seclusion to seek justice from the Spirit Hall."
Tang Yuehua carefully examined Tang San. She saw no resemblance between his face and Tang Hao's, but since Tang Hao had acknowledged him as his son, there was no doubt about his identity.
Moreover, Tang San's cold demeanor and terrifying killing intent were identical to Tang Hao's when he had first returned from Slaughter City.
Hearing Tang Hao's plan to return to the sect once Tang San was properly trained, Tang Yuehua immediately assured him:
"Second Brother, don't worry. With my Noble Ring Domain, I'll definitely mold Xiao San into an outstanding noble."
"Second Brother, you might not know this, but the sect's strength has grown significantly. Aside from Big Brother, the remaining five elders have all advanced to become Title Douluos. We're not far behind the Spirit Hall now. With you joining us, the Clear Sky Sect's resurgence is not far off."
Hearing this, both Tang Hao and Tang San were overjoyed. With so many Title Douluos, what was there to fear from the Spirit Hall? The opportunity for revenge was finally within reach.
After some more conversation, Tang Hao left Tang San at the Moon Pavilion and headed out alone to Shrek Academy.
Since Flender had taken over Shrek Academy, the institution had been struggling, with severe financial losses pushing it to the brink of collapse.
Of course, these headaches were Flender and Liu Erlong's to deal with. As for Yu Xiaogang, he remained secluded in a pavilion deep within the academy, focused solely on his research.
That day, a gust of wind blew open the half-closed window of the pavilion. Yu Xiaogang looked up in confusion, only to see the disheveled figure of Tang Hao.
Yu Xiaogang was overjoyed:
"Lord Haotian?!"
Tang Hao turned to face him and asked, "Grandmaster, you once said that after observing Bibi Dong in action, you could uncover the secret of twin martial souls. How is your research coming along?"
Yu Xiaogang's expression stiffened. In truth, the battle had been too fast for him, a mere Great Soul Master, to observe clearly. However, over the years, he had given it much thought and now replied:
"I've formed a hypothesis. What sets Bibi Dong apart from other soul masters is her possession of a 100,000-year spirit ring and, most likely, a 100,000-year spirit bone. As the pinnacle treasures of the soul master world, 100,000-year spirit rings and bones significantly enhance one's physical strength. It's likely that after obtaining these, she began cultivating her second martial soul."
Tang Hao frowned. "A 100,000-year spirit ring and spirit bone..."
He had already prepared a 100,000-year spirit ring and spirit bone for Tang San—Xiao Wu. However, it was still too early for Tang San to absorb them, unless it was through a sacrifice.
With that, Tang Hao turned and left, leaving behind a final remark: "I'll find a way to obtain a 100,000-year spirit ring and spirit bone. I hope your hypothesis is correct."
Only after Tang Hao disappeared did Yu Xiaogang let out a sigh of relief. His eyes filled with resentment as he muttered to himself:
"Bibi Dong, it's just a secret to overcoming the drawbacks of twin martial souls. Since you know it, why couldn't you tell me? You weren't like this back then. The Bibi Dong who once showed me the secrets of the Spirit Hall is gone forever."

Back at the Moon Pavilion, as the day's classes ended and the students prepared to leave, Xue Ke was picked up by her elder brother, Xue Qinghe.
Inside the royal carriage, Xue Ke couldn't help but tell Xue Qinghe:
"Big Brother, you won't believe what happened at the Moon Pavilion today. Two guards were killed, and the person who did it has a close relationship with Aunt Yuehua..."
She recounted the day's events in detail, ending with a shiver: "That person was so ruthless, killing without even blinking. I'm terrified of having to share classes with someone like that."
Xue Qinghe's eyes narrowed, filled with shock and delight. "Heaven has no path, yet they walk into hell themselves. Tang Yuehua's second brother—how could I not know who that is?"
"Tang Hao, Tang San, five years ago you escaped. Five years later, you won't escape again."
He then spoke gently to Xue Ke: "Don't worry, A'Ke. Focus on your studies. I'll investigate those two individuals. If they pose any threat, I'll personally deal with them."
Xue Ke nodded, reassured.
After dropping Xue Ke off, Xue Qinghe returned to his prince's residence. His expression turned icy as he spoke to the empty room:
"Elder She Mao, Elder Ci Tun, Tang Hao and Tang San have reappeared. They're at the Moon Pavilion in the city. It's almost certainly them. Immediately send people to monitor them. At the same time, gather a team of soul masters—all must be at least Soul Sages. We'll find an opportunity to eliminate this father and son."
"What Bibi Dong failed to do, I will accomplish. Who Bibi Dong couldn't kill, I will kill. Her incompetence has tarnished the Spirit Hall's reputation. This is the first step in bringing her down."
As his words fell, two voices responded from the seemingly empty room:
"As you command, Young Master!"
