Chapter 229 - Breaking Down the Galaxy with a Wave — The Main Force of the Matrix Family Is Destroyed!

Zola's furious will radiated outwards, instantly commanding the collective consciousness of the Matrix family, which had already taken shape under his influence.

The Matrix family went completely berserk.

They surged toward Aaron with relentless fury—intent on obliterating him, piece by piece.

As they advanced, countless energy beams rained down.

After absorbing advanced technological reserves from the Kree Empire, many of the Matrix elites evolved into mobile fortresses capable of unleashing torrents of energy beams.

Yet when these beams struck Aaron, they were effortlessly absorbed and transformed into his own power.

Aaron's Level 9 Energy Absorption ability, cast by himself, released terrifying potential.

Against him, pure technological energy attacks posed little threat.

No matter how many beams came, they couldn't even faze him—in fact, they became fuel for his power.

Zola misunderstood the situation. He believed the God of Magic was merely deflecting the attacks with trickery.

But this misunderstanding didn't shake Zola's certainty about the battle's outcome.

No one, he thought, could stand forever before the mighty Matrix horde.

After all, the Matrix family was the true family of gods.

But just as his confidence peaked, something unexpected occurred.

True, their numbers were immense. Even with Superman present, it would take unimaginable effort to clear the entire formation.

But Aaron was not a warrior—he was a sorcerer.

"Sometimes, numbers mean nothing."

"When the quality is high enough, no matter how many ants you send, they're still just ants."

Aaron inhaled deeply. As the Matrix family closed in, his entire body released a breath that made even space itself tremble.

And then it happened.

An overwhelming wave of energy spread out.

The entire galaxy was engulfed in an instant.

Every enemy within the radius—whether high-tech warship, ordinary soldier, or enhanced Matrix elite—was reduced to nothing.

They disintegrated like smoke blown away by the wind, without any warning or resistance.

Without exception.

Zola had anticipated something like this. Calmly, he began retreating with his troops—still unafraid.

"Every being runs out of energy eventually. In this vast universe, how long can you keep up this stunt?"

"This isn't Earth!"

He didn't believe Aaron could maintain this state forever.

Space was boundless. He couldn't possibly dominate an entire galaxy with magic alone.

Zola thought he could simply wear Aaron down with waves of cannon fodder.

And so, the Matrix family began to retreat like a receding tide.

They fled from Aaron's lethal range, looking for a chance to strike again.

During the retreat, hundreds of millions were lost—still a small portion of their entire forces.

The transports ran at full throttle.

Those who couldn't escape in time either fled to nearby planets or buried themselves deep within them, hoping the planetary mass would shield them from Aaron's unfathomable magic.

But things did not go as Zola hoped.

Intent on wiping out the Matrix family that had gathered so painstakingly, Aaron accelerated his casting. His range expanded.

Soon, his magical field surpassed even Earth's volume.

Spreading outward from his position, it grew in every direction.

Then it got worse—much worse.

Many of the Matrix who tried hiding on planets were caught in the expanding magic.

Not just the soldiers—the entire planets they hid on were forcibly broken down by the spell.

Gasps filled the void.

Planets were disappearing.

Right before everyone's eyes, the mysterious God of Magic destroyed the Matrix family and simultaneously disintegrated planets with terrifying ease.

And it wasn't just planets—every satellite and meteor caught within the magic's path was annihilated as well.

No place to hide. No place to run.

Is this the power of a god?

No—is this even a god anymore?

Albert, a Kree, nearly wet himself at the sight.

The mighty Kree Empire could destroy a planet, yes—but it took extensive preparation and explosives.

And even then, the destruction was visible, mechanical, and slow.

This... this was different.

Even smaller satellites and meteors were child's play in comparison. Rocket Raccoon once built a bomb to destroy a satellite—but even that was nothing next to Aaron.

These golden energies were utterly incomprehensible.

Albert and the others froze, paralyzed by fear.

They stood within the golden glow, afraid that even the slightest movement might trigger their own disintegration.

No one believed their ships—or their flesh—could withstand what entire planets couldn't.

The massacre continued.

Even though Aaron had expended significant energy preparing this spell, the reserves he had left were far from what Zola had estimated.

First one planet… then a second… then a third…

Until the entire galaxy was swallowed by Aaron's magic, and he still showed no signs of stopping.

The wave surged on.

Matrix forces disintegrated one after another.

Eventually, only those still inside their spacecraft remained.

But their time was short.

In the Marvel universe, due to reliance on teleportation, few spacecraft had meaningful advancements in raw flight speed.

None could travel at light speed.

At one point, the Kree had nearly developed a hyperdrive using the Space Stone—but after its explosion and Captain Marvel's transformation, that technology was lost.

Matrix cruisers, built with that heritage, lacked any true light-speed capability.

There was no time to reach a transition point.

Meanwhile, Aaron's magical field kept accelerating.

Before long, the remaining Matrix ships would also be wiped out in this hopeless battle.

Zola's mental state finally shattered.

He had imagined many possible outcomes—but never this.

The Matrix family, which held most of the Kree Empire's resources and population, was supposed to be invincible.

How could a single sorcerer do this?

Wasn't he just a god?

Just one spell—one—and the godlike race Zola had created was annihilated.

Absurd.

Is this what gods are supposed to be?

In Zola's calculations, gods had limits—like the Goddess of Death, Thor, or even the so-called King of Gods, Loki.

They were gods, yes—but not without weaknesses. Not omnipotent.

They still feared one another.

He was certain that they would crumble before the Matrix swarm.

But this… God of Magic…

What are you?

Why do you, a being capable of destroying planets and galaxies, spend your time in some corner of Earth?

Don't play like this, man!

Now desperately fleeing, Zola's current body randomly boarded a transport ship.

But compared to a battleship, its speed was hopelessly inadequate.

As the golden light drew near, a flash of despair passed through Zola's eyes.

His Omnic Era. His machine empire. His HYDRA resurrection plans.

All on the brink of collapse.

What kind of force could resist Aaron now?

What kind of technology could overcome this natural disaster?

Zola, for the first time, lost all hope.

Even though some Matrix families still existed across scattered planets, supported by factories...

Even if he rebuilt—what good would it do?

Against Aaron, the Matrix family were just ants.

Ridiculous.

That was Zola's final thought before his current body was disintegrated by the golden wave.

Zola was not dead.

His data returned to his main body on Earth.

There, surrounded by inactive Matrix units, he stood in deep silence.

What now?

Fight? Flee?

But there's no fight. No escape.

Any Matrix soldier on the battlefield now would only meet the same fate—consumed by the golden storm.

The Matrix family, once so feared, now only knew one thing: to flee.

Soon, the battle ended.

As the last Matrix battleship was overtaken and destroyed, the galaxy was irreparably devastated.

All celestial bodies within it had been decomposed and absorbed.

A vast emptiness remained.

This power—beyond Superman, beyond the gods—shocked everyone present.

Even Hela and the others were stunned.

Aaron's strength had long surpassed gods and godfathers.

Odin? Zeus?

Compared to Aaron, they were nothing.

Even if the whole of Almighty City stood against him, they could do nothing.

Hela knew how powerful Odin once was.

She understood the might of the Heavenly Father level.

And she knew—Aaron had already left that level behind.

Perhaps still a god—but no god comparable to Planetary Gods.

As she stood there, solemn but intrigued, her thoughts stirred.

The era of the Magical Weave was coming.

One day, she believed, she too would tap into its power and rise above the gods.

As for Wanda and the others—though shocked, they were mostly overjoyed.

Their man (or teacher) was so powerful, it filled them with pride.

Albert, Star-Lord, and the rest?

Completely overwhelmed.

They had never seen such power.

Not even the legendary Celestials, viewed through the Collector's archives, could compare to the God of Magic.

A whole galaxy—

Gone.

Erased from the star map.

"Well," Albert muttered, "I guess it's time we update the map."

Star-Lord nodded. "Yeah… definitely time."

One battle. One man.

A galaxy, shattered.

If anyone heard this, Supreme Intelligence would call it madness.

Maybe it was.

Maybe Aaron really is insane.

Meanwhile, as Aaron obliterated the Matrix main force in one devastating sweep, the Kree Empire's remaining fleet seized the opportunity.

With most Matrix troops withdrawn, the rest were scattered—unable to resist.

The Kree broke through the encirclement and fled, jumping from system to system without daring to pause.

They didn't know how long Aaron could last.

In their minds, even a god would fall eventually.

So they fled—far from Kree space, hoping to gather allies to face the Matrix family again.

Eventually, the Kree reached Xandar, where the Prime Minister met the newly elected Star Supreme.

And when news of the Matrix-Kree war spread…

The whole galaxy was engulfed in the atmosphere of war.

No one mocked the Kree. They understood now—the Matrix were a threat to all.

But before an alliance could even be formed—

Another message arrived.

The entire main force of the Matrix family had been wiped out—

By the God of Magic. Alone.
