"Alright," Felix sighed into the phone. "You have five minutes. Explain yourself."
"Five minutes? That's too little!" Kade whined. "Wouldn't it be better to take our time to explain things properly? So that there are no more-"
"Then get to the point," Felix snapped, interrupting Kade. Actually, those five minutes, he was just saying it. He didn't set up a timer or anything. Even if the conversation took ten, or fifteen, or twenty minutes, he had no intention to disconnect, not unless Kade were to start spewing nonsense, since he also wanted the situation explained. The only reason why he was rushing Kade, was because he hoped the Alpha would be under pressure. If he were lying, the chances he would slip up and accidentally reveal the truth were higher this way.
"Alright, alright," Kade's tone immediately grew more serious. Only to falter a moment later, "But… I truly don't know what you are talking about."
