It was the same team division as before—Luo Wei, Hela, and Heimdall entered the forest as a team of three.

However, not long after they left the meeting point, an abrupt screech pierced through the sky above them.

Suddenly, a silver-armored warhorse appeared in front of the trio. It was unclear whether it had teleported or simply arrived at an incomprehensible speed. The warhorse had eight legs, its body broad and muscular, emanating a powerful, ferocious aura that reminded one of the legendary Longwei.

"Daughter." Atop the eight-legged steed sat Odin, looking proud and content as the spring breeze brushed through his golden hair. He looked at Hela with satisfaction and said, "I knew you would defeat Skadi."

Hela bowed her head respectfully. "Father."

Luo Wei and Heimdall immediately saluted. "All-Father Odin."

"You've both done well—Heimdall, Luo Wei." Odin nodded approvingly.

He turned back to Hela. "Come, I'll take you to Nidavellir."

"Nidavellir?" Hela blinked, caught off guard.

Odin chuckled. "Of course. The Dwarf King has prepared the mold for your warhammer. You must see it."

Hela hesitated. "But the hunting festival isn't over yet."

"My daughter, the festival is already yours. You've won. Waiting around is a waste of your time. Let's go." Odin's laughter was hearty and commanding.

Hela sighed, nodded, and mounted the eight-legged steed. Before leaving, she glanced back at her companions. "Return to the assembly point. Wait there until the hunting festival concludes."

Hiss—

The Pegasus neighed and vanished into the skies in a blur of speed and light.

Luo Wei nudged Heimdall. "So… is that eight-legged Pegasus faster than you?"

Heimdall shrugged. "How would I know? I've never raced it… But the Pegasus can gallop through space itself—I can't do that."

"Should we head back to the meeting point now?"

"Let's explore a bit. We might find something interesting in the forest."

The two strolled deeper into the woods, leisurely observing the landscape. After a while, they stumbled upon a small clearing, set up a bonfire, and decided to barbecue.

Unfortunately, the weather was not on their side. As the fire started to catch, the sky opened up with drizzle that rapidly escalated into a downpour.

Luo Wei suddenly had an idea. He picked up the little creature Shilut, who was quietly munching on rocks, and tapped its stone forehead. "Spit out a wall."

"Wahhh—" The little creature opened its mouth, and a muddy stream gushed out, forming a rock wall two meters high in seconds.

Though only a few centimeters thick, the wall was solid—far sturdier than normal stone, even capable of withstanding dragonfire.

"Another one," Luo Wei said.

"Wahhh—"

Another rock wall emerged.

"One more."

In mere moments, Shilut had encircled the bonfire with four stone walls, creating a crude shelter that shielded them from the rain.

Luo Wei and Heimdall crawled inside the stony shelter, sitting by the fire as rain pattered down outside.

"This thing's a must-have for survival," Heimdall said, admiring Shilut. "Where did you get it? Can you find me one?"

Shilut slumped down, looking completely exhausted, as if he'd been drained dry.

"Hungry?" Luo Wei asked.

"Hey," Shilut whimpered, nodding.

Luo Wei glanced around, then dashed off, returning shortly with several large stones. He smashed them and fed the fragments to Shilut.

At the same time, Heimdall returned with a wild boar and began roasting it over the fire. They ate roasted meat while Shilut munched on stones, the steady rhythm of rain providing a peaceful backdrop.

Luo Wei gazed at the stone wall nearby, tapping it with his knuckles. The texture was dense and resilient, tougher than even the bricks used in Asgardian construction.

He eyed Shilut thoughtfully, rubbing his chin.

Fast, efficient, and durable. If not for the insatiable appetite, this little guy could rival Asgard's finest architects. He could be a rising star in the cosmic real estate market…

Later that night.

Heimdall lay resting while Luo Wei kept watch.

"You're still hungry?" Luo Wei frowned at Shilut, who had once again finished the last of the rocks.

"Hey eh."

"Quiet now, Heimdall is sleeping. Stay put. I'll get you something to eat."

Luo Wei slipped out of the shelter and searched nearby for more suitable rocks.

He had already scoured much of the immediate area, so he wandered farther than before. Eventually, beneath the moonlight, he spotted a large, smooth boulder that gleamed faintly.

Judging by appearance, it was just the type Shilut liked. Luo Wei walked over, attempting to lift it—but it was far too heavy. He drew his warhammer and struck it several times, hoping to break it into manageable chunks.

But then, his instincts flared.

Something was wrong.

He jerked to the side just in time to avoid a shadow that lunged toward him.

"ROAR!"

A massive black figure crashed into the boulder, smashing it apart.

Luo Wei's heart raced as he beheld the creature—a colossal wolf, easily larger than an elephant. It was the most enormous wolf-like beast he had ever encountered.

He instinctively reached to his side and drew the Ice Shaper's longbow and an arrow from the Sanctuary's spatial storage.

With one swift motion, the bow was strung and the arrow drawn, the tip glowing with cold energy.

The wolf staggered, disoriented after its impact. Before it could recover, Luo Wei loosed the arrow—striking the beast just above the knee.

"AWOOO!" The beast howled in pain as icy energy spread through its leg, severely hampering its movement.

Luo Wei grimaced. The Ice Shaper's bow left his fingers cold as ice after a single shot, so he quickly stored it again.

Switching to close combat, he brandished the Fist of Verigan and charged in.

The wolf had no magical tricks—just sheer size and brute strength. But Luo Wei's agility and combat instincts helped him keep up.

Then came his moment.

Hammer of Justice!

With a leap, Luo Wei brought the righteous hammer down onto the wolf's skull.

Boom!

The beast reeled from the impact, dazed but not defeated. Before Luo Wei could land, a massive paw swiped out and sent him crashing into a nearby tree.

Pain exploded in his chest.

The wolf, still shaking off the blow, lumbered forward to finish the job.

Gritting his teeth, Luo Wei slammed his hammer into the ground.

Sword of Justice!

A brilliant blade of holy fire burst upward, slicing deep into the wolf's front leg and sending blood gushing forth.

Luo Wei scrambled up and charged again. This time, a burst of holy light struck the wolf's leg joint with pinpoint precision, disrupting its coordination.

"AWOOOO!" The beast wailed, unable to pursue him further, limping back under the veil of moonlight.
