Lucas almost felt like crying when he saw the planet he was looking for. His hands trembled, and he almost dropped the file.
'Finally! I finally found you,' he thought, feeling ecstatic. It was as if he had won a war. In fact, it was more joyous than winning the war.
The old man had been observing Lucas, and he tilted his head, perplexed to see Lucas's over-the-top reaction.
'Why is he crying all of a sudden? What made him so sad?'
To Professor Finn, Lucas didn't seem to be happy from any angle. Instead, the young man looked like he was aggrieved for reasons he couldn't comprehend.
"Lucas, are you alright?" he asked, silently wondering if Lucas's brain was broken. Otherwise, why was he crying all of a sudden?
"Yes, yes, I'm fine," Lucas said, controlling his emotions. Although his tears didn't leave his eyes, his nose was blocked, and he sounded nasally, proving that he was anything but alright.
