Vance and Ryker were up and out by the time Lucas woke up. Again, he cursed himself for being a lazy bum and made his mind to wake up early, starting the next day.
Following his routine, he freshened up quickly and went to the dining hall after sending a quick message to Ryker and Vance, informing them about it.
Unsurprisingly, the two men were waiting for him outside the dining hall.
"Rise and shine, sunshine," Ryker greeted him with a teasing smile while Vance just scrutinized him with his eyes narrowed. But he didn't say anything.
However, Lucas knew that the man was displeased by his lackadaisical attitude. He wasn't in a resort to wake up whenever he wanted. If he slept early, then he was expected to wake up early, not some time after the sun had risen and was close to going directly above them.
Lucas smiled at him apologetically, once again vowing to fix his schedule.
