Mirelah;
"Yes, Mirelah. I mean it. I don't have feelings for Liriel. I never have, and never will. She's like a sister to me. You are the woman I married. You're the woman I want to call my wife till the day I breathe my last."
I pull myself away from him and look into his eyes.
So, Liriel was wrong! She lied. I didn't get married to a man who loves someone else. Kealith is mine. My husband!
"I belong to you, Mirelah. Only you. Bound by blood and oath, I am all yours. Your husband. Your teammate. Your life partner…" He says as he brushes his fingers over my cheeks to wipe my tears, and a relieved chuckle escapes me.
"We're actually married, aren't we?" I joke, and he laughs. A simple, smooth, deep sound.
"We are… It makes me feel a bit old." He replies, and I can't help but laugh.
"Mmm… What do married people do anyway?" I question absent-mindedly as I play with my dress, and before I even realise, he swoops in.
