" Thane please get up" I went to the ground and knelt with him. I held his palms and I looked him in the eyes and cleaned his tears. Seeing him cry like this made me realize that there was a hint of sincerity in his words were. I caressed his cheeks slowly, we were too close. Closer than I would want. But I couldn't just watch him kneel down in front of me like that while seating down on the chair . Yes I could enjoy him kneeling, but…but what if the secretary came in and saw the both of us kneeling down in front of one another and saw me touching the Boss's face. I really wanted to work in Peace here without any scandals or gossip spreading.

If it was going to make him stop making me feel like I was the one torturing him here, then I was going to have to accept it. I nodded my head slowly and he stood up slowly. I could not believe it when I had saw Stacie sitting down juxtaposed to a guy she could not stop chatting with. I wondered if she was annoyed with me because I did not agree to take her out on a date on Sunday. I never believed that we would see each other ever again. I could see that she was doing well.
I walked down the hallway and I saw Stacie surprisingly. She waved energetically at me and I waved back. I wondered if she had been thinking about me, we both approached one another and before I could speak.
" How was your date with Jesus, lover boy?" Her almond eyes were wide opened and her pouted lips carried a mix of mischief. Her voice sounded like it was on the verge of laughter like it always did.
"It was awesome, what about you? You went to church didn't you? You know that building that believers go meet other believers to learn about God together." I demonstrated the building sign at her with my two palms over shading my head in a house like manner.
What I received was an immediate hit on the shoulder.
"C'mon, I am also a Christian, I go to church but I am still growing. You don't have to tease me like that." I heaved a sign of relief. She sounded interested in God. At least her remarks were not like some remarks I would hear from some ladies her age.
" I don't do Church, I am my own woman."
I was relieved that she wasn't an antheist extremist or feminist extremist. My mind calmed down and I smiled.
" Oh I see, there is no problem. I would really love to get to know you more. Can we talk over coffee, I am on my respite. I was actually very fortunate to have met you a second time, I could not stop thinking about you?"
She smiled and she covered her face" You have such a sweet mouth Joshua. Our meeting is what they call fate. It is what they call fate, we are fated to meet."
I giggled a bit and I stared at this woman who was busy chatting away " anyways have you seen my boss, I would love to ask permission from her, if I was to be going anywhere with you josh."
" Oh I think she is with My boss, I just feel like something is going on between them, very serious chemistry. "
" Oh my is it that obvious?"
" What is obvious?"
" Okay see, Joshua, can I trust you with this vital information?"

" of course you do, I am telling right away." She did a zip sign and I followed her and imitated the gesture.
