Chapter 1 - WAR OF THRONE [CH=0][STORY BEGIN]

[This is my first story but I promise that you should be addicted to this story]

There was a war between ten kingdoms for conquering the world. This war continued for 500 years. During this war, billions of people died, so the ten kingdoms decided to sign a peace agreement.

The conditions of the agreement were that all ten kings would continue to rule their own kingdoms and would not interfere with other kingdoms. If even one kingdom started a war, it would be considered a declaration of war against all the other kingdoms.

The war stopped because of this agreement, and no kingdom was foolish enough to start a war against the other nine kingdoms. However, this agreement would break in the future to fulfill a certain man's desire.

This story begins twenty years after the agreement.

A boy was training his swordsmanship with his master and almost defeated him. He nearly won when he swung his sword toward his master's head, but the other person dodged the attack and placed his sword around the boy's neck.

The boy surrendered and said, "Master, how can I beat you?"

The other person replied, "Prince, you will beat me in the future if you continue your training like this."

There, we learn that this twelve-year-old boy is the prince of one of the kingdoms that signed the agreement. His name is Ashoka.

While he was talking with his master about swordsmanship, a lady called out, "Ashoka, eat your breakfast first, then train with Albert."

He turned around and said, "Mom, I'll eat after training."

His mother refused and said, "If you want to train, then eat your food first."

His master, who was also his bodyguard, said, "Prince, you can eat first, then we will continue your training."

Ashoka replied, "Okay then," and started eating his breakfast.

Ashoka's mother asked, "Why do you always go training without eating your food?"

Ashoka replied, "Because I want to become strong and rule the world."

His mother and bodyguard were shocked and asked, "Why do you want to rule the world?"

Ashoka replied, "To create equality."

Both were shocked and asked, "Equality? What does that mean?"

Ashoka said, "One day, I went to the commoners' market with Albert and saw many homeless children starving to death. I helped them and gave them food using my personal money because I knew that if I used noble money, Dad would scold me for wasting noble money on commoners.

That day, I decided to rule the world and create equality because I know that our kingdom is not the only one affected by the cruelty of that war."

His bodyguard Albert said, "Prince, your intentions are not wrong, but that is impossible. To stop that war, all ten kingdoms signed that peace agreement. If you become king and start a war, the agreement will break, and the other nine kingdoms will attack our kingdom. We are not strong enough to defeat nine kingdoms at once."

Ashoka replied, "But Albert, we are the third strongest kingdom among the ten, aren't we?"

"Prince, you are correct," Albert replied, "but only in terms of military power, not wisdom.

In wisdom, we are ranked seventh. Even if we start a war, we would only be able to withstand the military power of the other nine kingdoms for two days."

Ashoka said, "But Albert—"

Suddenly, Ashoka's mother interrupted and said, "Stop your childish dream, Ashoka. Do you want to destroy your kingdom for those foolish commoners who started that war 500 years ago?"

Ashoka asked, "What does that mean, Mom?"

Albert quickly stopped the queen and said, "Your Majesty, please don't. That is very confidential information. Only nobles and generals know that information. We should tell the prince when he becomes king."

The queen replied, "Shut up, Albert. There are only three years left. He has to know why nobles hate commoners so much."

Ashoka asked, "What does that mean, Mom?"

Ashoka's mother replied, "I will tell you why nobles hate commoners so much and why that war started 500 years ago."
