"Oh my! You really do have such a potty mouth!" Blood Reign giggled nonstop in Damon's head as he continued to kite the knight around like some oversized raid boss. The weapon spirit was clearly having the time of her life.
"Isn't there any way you could be useful right now? Just think about that," Damon growled back under his breath, not slowing down for even a second.
On the outside, he looked calm and confident, casually dodging attacks and taunting the enemy like none of this was a big deal. But inside, he was pushing himself to the absolute limit.
