After visiting my friends and family in the mortal realm, I let go of all my worries and focused on training. "Take this, Enis!" I shouted, lunging with my sword. She dodged effortlessly, and with a flick of her wrist, she knocked my sword from my hand. Tsk, I needed to think smarter instead of relying on rigid moves. How about a feint? I pretended to charge straight ahead, then swiftly darted to the right. "Where do you think you're going?" Enis said, her sword already pointing at me. It seemed no trick could outmatch her absolute strength. "Enis, how can I react as quickly as you? You've taught me the techniques, but I still can't keep up with your speed," I asked helplessly. "You need to channel more power and focus in an instant, and be able to unleash it calmly at any moment," Enis explained. I could only follow her guidance, avoiding cheap tricks and working on my control, striving for instantaneous bursts of speed and power. As Enis intensified her attacks, I struggled to keep up, my body getting cut and stabbed repeatedly. But I didn't run or resort to schemes. Getting hit was my own fault for lacking skill. Through our relentless clashes, I gradually grasped the knack, starting to turn the tide. I shifted from defense to offense, trading blows with her. Suddenly, Enis stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You're too injured. Let me heal you first," she said, her eyes scanning my wounds with concern. A beam of light shot from her palm, and my injuries healed instantly. "Thanks!" I said, the pain vanishing. "Here I come!" Enis declared, striking me to the ground with a swift blow. I struggled to my feet, flew back up, and continued fighting. Today, I trained through constant injuries and healing, forgetting the pain. If Enis hadn't healed me out of care, I might not have noticed myself bleeding out. But it was in these conditions that I improved rapidly. We even skipped lunch, fighting until evening. Finally, I managed to close the gap to a 40-60 split with Enis. "That's enough for today," she said. Exhausted, I collapsed, and Enis swooped in to catch me. I fell into a deep sleep in her arms. When I opened my eyes again, I was lying on a couch, but Enis was nowhere in sight. Dragging my aching body, I searched for her and found her in the kitchen, cooking. "You're awake! I'm making stew; it's almost done," Enis said, spotting me. "You made this? That's impressive!" I leaned in, catching a whiff of a delightful aroma. It seemed she'd done a great job. "Go wait in the dining room; I'll bring it over," she said. I left the kitchen, set the table, and soon Enis teleported in with the pot. "Try it. It's my first time cooking, so I'm not too confident," she said shyly. "Anything you make, I'll love," I said with a warm smile. Enis served two portions, and we sat down to eat. The smooth, sweet flavor was just like my own cooking—Enis had nailed it, a step closer to being the perfect wife. "This is delicious! You did it perfectly!" I praised. "I didn't expect my first try to turn out so well. I just followed my memories," Enis said as she ate. "Guess you're cooking for me every day now, haha!" I teased. After dinner, I washed the dishes while Enis prepared a bath. I joined her in the bathroom, soaking in the tub as she scrubbed me, soothing my aching muscles. She taught me swordsmanship and still pampered me—I felt a bit embarrassed. Back in the bedroom, I massaged her shoulders. Exhausted, we both collapsed and fell asleep without any shy antics.
