Four men in suits could be seen outside, waiting for Leonhardt to come out. He opened the car door gently and stepped out, shutting it behind him with calm finality.
"To what do I owe this disturbance?" Leonhardt asked with a fearsome coldness, then added, "It better be worth my time."
"We are very sorry, Mr. Castiel, but this needed to be done," one of the men said with a bow. "We're looking for Mr. Sinclair's son, who came to the fundraiser with him. We asked the gatekeeper, and he confirmed the boy hasn't left. The building has been thoroughly checked, he's not inside. He's not conversant with magic or even aware of it, unlike his father. So, we needed to inspect every guest present today to ensure his whereabouts."
Leonhardt hissed as he stood before them. He drew out a cigarette, placed it between his lips, and lit it. Inhaling deeply, he exhaled a cloud of smoke before speaking again.
"So, are you accusing me of kidnapping little Mr. Sinclair?"
