Chapter 2 - The Goddess with No Name

Renjiro turned around slowly, heart hammering in his chest.

There, standing by the now-closed door of his room, was a woman unlike any he had ever seen.

Tall and graceful, she exuded a kind of serene power that made the air feel heavier just by her presence. Her skin was porcelain pale, her long hair cascading like liquid silver to her waist. Her eyes were a soft lavender—glowing faintly, but not in the Byakugan way—something… deeper, older. A white gown hugged her body loosely, barely seeming to touch her, as if fabric itself feared to cling to divinity.

But the strangest thing about her?

She looked bored.

"You must be the goddess," Renjiro said slowly, watching her as one might watch a sleeping dragon.

She gave a dainty shrug, stepping forward without a sound. "That's what you mortals call us, yes. I suppose it fits. Technically accurate, even if a little dramatic."

He narrowed his eyes. "You're the one who asked me if I wanted to live."

"Mhm." She walked past him casually, running a finger across his desk, eyeing the scrolls with mild disinterest. "And you're the idiot who said yes."

Renjiro blinked. "Wait, what?"

She looked over her shoulder, smirking. "Oh, come on. You didn't think I'd hand you all this power out of pure generosity, did you?" She twirled, the hem of her gown floating like mist. "No, no, no. You've been chosen, darling. Chosen to play a game."

He folded his arms. "What kind of game?"

"The only kind worth playing," she said with a coy smile. "Power. Survival. Lust. War. Across an infinite sea of possibilities, you will travel from one Naruto universe to another, each world reshaped by fate and madness. Some are ruled by Kaguya. Others by Naruto himself, twisted by pain. Some… don't even have chakra at all."

Renjiro raised an eyebrow. "And I just… what? Do whatever I want?"

She nodded. "As long as you survive. Every universe has rules. And every universe has women—powerful, dangerous, tempting. Some will want to kill you. Others will want to own you. And a rare few…" She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper, "...will fall for you."

Renjiro stared into those glowing lavender eyes, his pulse steady.

"And what's your angle in all this?"

The goddess giggled. "Would you believe me if I said I was just bored?"

"No."

"Good," she said, brushing her silver hair back. "Because I'm not just bored. I want to see what happens when a mortal man is given everything—power, choice, lust, danger—and is told to survive without limits."

"Why me?"

"Because you had nothing. No attachments. No dreams. You were empty… and empty vessels make the best canvases."

Renjiro looked down at his hand—his new, perfect hand—and clenched his fist.

"So what now?"

The goddess stepped back, her arms folding behind her. "Now, you begin. You are currently in your personal realm, a pocket world only you can access. Time here doesn't flow like in the universes. You can rest, recover, train, even bring others here if you form a bond strong enough. Think of it as… home base."

She raised her hand, and a floating red symbol appeared before him—like a seal, rotating slowly in the air. "Touch this when you're ready to begin your journey. You'll be sent to Universe 323—a fractured version of the Naruto timeline, post-Pain Arc, where things took… a different path."

Renjiro studied the seal. "And the power you gave me?"

The goddess' smile grew. "Ah yes… the Blood Script Technique. You can copy any jutsu, kekkei genkai, or bloodline you witness—even those that aren't chakra-based. But more importantly, you can modify and combine them in unnatural ways. Want a Sharingan that doesn't drain chakra? Done. Rasenshuriken with fire and lightning? Easy. Even absurd things like Kamui combined with Tsunade's strength? If you can survive the strain… it's yours."

Renjiro's jaw tensed. "That sounds broken."

"Oh, it is," she grinned. "But so are the worlds you're going to."

He looked at the floating seal again. "And if I die?"

"You return here. But not for free." Her tone turned colder. "Each death costs you a piece of your soul. Too many, and… well, let's just say the next time you see me, you'll wish you hadn't."

Renjiro nodded once, then turned to the seal.

The goddess called out one last time. "Oh, and Ren?"

He looked back.

She winked. "Say hi to Hinata for me. She's a bit different in that world—confident, deadly, and not the least bit shy."

He smirked. "Good. I like a challenge."

Without hesitation, he reached out and touched the seal.

The world shattered like glass.

And Universe 323 awaited.
