Nathan stood up.
His face was still a little red—not out of embarrassment, but because his body was overwhelmed by too much kindness and libido compressed into a single emotional package.
He stared at the calm surface of the river and let out a long sigh.
Maybe… it's better to just pull trees than be tortured like this, he muttered, wiping his still-damp hair.
He turned around and looked at Validia and Velmora.
"I'm gonna keep uprooting trees. If you two are tired, just rest. It's fine," he said, trying to sound firm—though his voice carried the tone of a man who just finished a 2AM relapse.
Validia nodded quickly. "I'm not tired. I want to keep sorting tree logs. It's fun, hehe." She smiled.
Velmora blinked slowly, then smiled. "I want to watch you. Your sweaty body… it's nice to look at."
Nathan blushed reflexively. He cleared his throat, then looked down.
"Yeah… okay then."
