The Second Raikage muttered, his face full of disdain.

"Kin, Gin, quit fiddling with that busted cannon. That old man tampered with it."

"Seriously, Aye?! Old man, did you break our new toy?!"

Ginkaku shouted.

Akio smiled.

"I didn't tamper with anything. That cannon was built by me. It won't fire when aimed at me. Don't believe me? Try pointing it at the Raikage and his men!"

"Really?"

Ginkaku asked, but Kinkaku had already begun rotating the barrel.

Akio smirked mischievously and exchanged a glance with Tobirama. In an instant, both of them vanished.

"Battalion commander! Where the hell is our Italian cannon?!"

A nonsensical shout echoed through the air just as the Chakra-powered cannon activated. With a deafening boom, the Raikage's camp was thrown into chaos.

"Kin! The cannon works great!"

Ginkaku cheered with excitement.

"Works my ass! That old bastard played us!"

Kinkaku roared in fury, motioning behind him.

"Kill them!"

Akio looked at Tobirama with a smile.

"I'll leave the Raikage to you. Can you handle it?"

Tobirama nodded.

"With that blast just now, it shouldn't be a problem."

"Then I'm off. I'll finish them quickly and come help!"

Akio grinned.

Sage Mode—Activate!

"Five Gates should be enough... Seven Gates' duration is too short..."

Akio murmured, dashing forward.

"Sage Art: Dust Release—Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"

"Earth Style: Earth-Style Wall!"

"Water Style: Water Formation Wall!"

Twenty enemy shinobi cast multi-layered defense techniques at once.

"Clearly, none of you have ever faced a Dust Release user before..."

Akio chuckled, eyes narrowing slightly. He didn't slow down.

As expected, every defense in the Dust Release's path crumbled into nothingness. A blinding white light burst forth, shaking the earth. Screams echoed.

"Hmm?"

Akio frowned and looked up. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were charging at him from the left and right.

"Earth Style: Hardening Jutsu!"

Akio hardened the skin on both arms and punched out with both fists. With just a light collision, Kin and Gin were blasted dozens of meters away, carving deep trenches in the ground.

As Akio prepared to follow up, a surge of chakra erupted behind him. He dodged sideways—just in time to avoid a beam of lightning, which twisted in midair and came back at him.

"Storm Release?"

Akio focused. A black Rasengan formed in his right hand.

"Black Jade Rasengan!"

The backlash made him slide back several meters. He turned around with a frown.

"Second Raikage?"

He glanced over at Tobirama—just entangled by a group of shinobi and B. Akio let out a sigh of relief.

"Storm Release: Laser Circus!"

The Second Raikage began weaving signs, but Akio was faster. A Tailed Beast Bomb formed in his mouth and launched instantly.

The Raikage halted his signs and took a bizarre stance. The Tailed Beast Bomb twisted and vanished into nothing before reaching him.

"What the hell was that? Kamui?"

Akio's brow twitched.

"Some strange space-time ninjutsu? No wonder he blocked my Dust Release before..."

"What are you?!"

The Second Raikage had just witnessed Akio fire a Tailed Beast Bomb from his mouth.

Akio's face darkened.

"Sixth Gate—Gate of View, Open!"

"Guess what I am!"

The ground beneath his feet exploded. He reappeared beside the Raikage in an instant.

"Let's see you block this taijutsu!"

A kick smashed into the Raikage's right cheek. Teeth flew through the air.

"Tobirama! The Second Raikage's all yours!"

Tobirama turned. An unidentifiable object was hurtling toward him. He quickly activated Flying Thunder God, scattering the enemies swarming him.

As Akio prepared to pursue, nausea hit him.

"Why does moving at high speed with taijutsu feel like getting carsick?"

"Ugh..."

Akio vomited a puff of blue gas.

"Haha! Old man, you touched my Golden Canopy Rope just now!"

Ginkaku's triumphant voice echoed.

Akio's eyes widened in realization.

"So that wasn't taijutsu sickness... Damn, you scared me! Word Spirit Seal!"

Akio formed hand seals and inhaled, swallowing the blue gas back down.

Ginkaku skidded to a stop.

"K-Kinkaku, he ate the Word Spirit back up!"

Kinkaku looked at his right hand and frowned.

"Golden Canopy Rope...?"

Akio sneered.

"When it comes to sealing techniques, I'm practically your ancestor!"

"Sage Art: Dust Release—Origin World Severing Technique!"

"Kinkaku!"

"Ginkaku!"

The brothers exchanged a look, then donned Tailed Beast Cloaks. Six tails each, twelve total—combining into a full Nine-Tails form that blocked Akio's Dust Release.

"Impressive..."

Akio smiled.

"Let's try this one. Sage Art: Dust Release—Boundary World Severing Technique!"

Their next move shocked Akio. Kin and Gin's cloaks merged into one. Nine tails formed—a nearly perfect Nine-Tails Jinchūriki form.

A massive Tailed Beast Bomb formed in Kinkaku's mouth, colliding with Akio's Dust Release.

The attacks twisted into each other without a sound. In the center of the blinding light, everything was annihilated.

Even the battle on Tobirama's side paused. Everyone turned to look.

Akio had cast more than a dozen Earth-Style Walls for cover, but even then he staggered.

"Damn... Those two still had that trick? No wonder they were able to take Tobirama down with them in the original timeline."

Everything fell silent. Akio pushed aside the final wall and looked out.

Kin and Gin were helping each other up. Their cloaks were tattered, but they seemed mostly unharmed.

"They blocked my strongest technique?"

Akio sighed.

"I've probably only got enough chakra left for two more shots. But looking at their state... One should be enough."

"Kinkaku, this old guy's too strong... Let's retreat."

Ginkaku spoke up.

Just as Kinkaku opened his mouth, Akio began weaving signs again—then sighed and vanished.

A lightning-water fusion jutsu struck where he'd just stood. Akio frowned.

"Kinkaku and Ginkaku's special forces? Two of them survived?"

He had assumed the earlier shockwave had wiped them out.

"Ginkaku, retreat!"

Kinkaku called. The two had little chakra left.

"Sage Art: Wind Style—Rasenshuriken!"

Akio wasn't holding back anymore. Two Rasenshuriken flew out, followed by twin explosions. Silence followed.

In the distance, Kin and Gin were fleeing fast. Akio gave chase, gathering what little chakra he had left.

"Sage Art: Dust Release—Boundary World Severing Technique!"

The two brothers, unable to form another Tailed Beast Bomb, were annihilated in a swirl of white crystal.
