"We have the Wife and Slave ranks," Selene began, her tone firm but calm.
"But that's not enough. Not all women who aren't slaves hold the same weight, the same importance. So I propose we divide it further."

"Concubines are women who have a relationship with Noah, but whose importance—to the family or even to Noah himself—is… minimal, yet. Mostly because they are new."
"But with time these bonds may deepen."

"Are you all following?" She asked.

Expressions serious now.
No one dared to protest.
