Since the banquet, things have gone quiet and nothing truly special has happend. Honestly, I prefer it this way. As much as I want to find out the answers to all my questions, a little peace is good once in a while.

I turn to the direction of the voice, it was the madame (the head of all the servants). I bow my head in respect.
"What can I do for you?"
She crosses her arms and sizes me up, I feel incredibly uncomfortable under her gaze and it's making me sweat buckets. Why is she looking at me like that? If you have nothing to say then leave me alone you old hag! Of course I would never say that out loud hehe...
"Yesterday night, you had left the hall without permission. Why?"
I flinch, damn I forgot about that. I should make up an excuse or something really quick...uhh.
"You see, I had felt extremely ill and went out for no longer than 3 minutes to get some fresh air, getting sick all over one of the lords was simply not an opinion. So as I hope you will understand, I wasn't trying to stall or disrespect your rules."
She stares at me in dead silence for a while. What the hell am I supposed to do? Wait eternity for your approval!? ARGHH! But after a few moments she finally speaks.
"You are one of my most skilled servants. Slacking is not an option. Do you understand?"
I look at her in surprise. Me? One of the most skilled ? You know, i think I'll add you to my tolerated list.
"I understand perfectly Madame, I'll make sure not to be so reckless again."
I can't hold back a proud smirk and she sighs.
"Did you at least finish pouring for all the lords you were assigned to?"
I nod really fast a couple of times.
"Yes ma'am."
She nods and turns to walk away, before speaking again.
"Another thing, I was approached by one of the young master's this morning who was quite concerned for you."
I freeze, oh hell no. It can't be...
"----- Young master Asahi Xia----"
NOO! That dammed little-ahhh! Why did he have to go to her of all people and ask?! He could've asked Xiao Ling! Damnit! I never wanted to draw attention to myself! I'm going have a headache...
"Make sure you don't make anyone else worry. I'm surprised he even bothered asking about you."
I feel like I've been hit by five trucks.
"Y-yes ma'am..."
She nods and finally walks off. Once she is out of sight I run behind a few trees and pick up a slightly large rock, lifting it over my head.
"Damnit! This is so frustrating!"
"What is?"
I hear a familiar voice say and the rock slips out my hand and lands with a bang on my head before falling to the floor with a thud. I grab the back of my head with my hands and groan in pain falling to my knees a little too dramatically. Now this is the feeling of really being hit by five trucks. I think I've damaged my beautiful brain.
"Are you alright?"
I look up, not noticing the small tears in my eyes from the pain. Sure enough it was Asahi. Well this is just my luck.
"Uh- yes sorry"
I hide my pain through a innocent smile, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU LITTLE BRAT! I JUST GOT HIT IN THE HEAD BY A BIG, FAT ROCK! OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO HURT! I smile more.
"I see, that is good."
He extends his hand for me to take. As much as I don't want to be rude, I am way to annoyed to care about respect. I stand up myself looking away. That was embarrassing...His hand drops back to his side.
"Now that I look at you properly, you're that servant girl from the banquet."
I flinch, ughhh why does he have to bring that up?
"How have you been since then?"
Leave me alone damnit...I don't need your concern, you kill me in the future anyways.
"..fine..."
This is so awkward. I just want to dig myself a hole and die.
"I see...why are you-"
"I'm afraid I have to go back to my duties hahaha! If you'll excuse me!"
I turn to walk away.
"Wait-! Just a moment..."

"What is it?"
I don't turn to face him.
"Earlier you we're about to throw that rock and...you said something was frustrating you. I would like to know what it is...if you would be comfortable enough to share it with me."

I got to make up another excuse! I can't tell him that he is the reason for my distress that's suicide!

I hold my hands together and look at him innocently with fake tears.
"I was just so angry with myself, I had almost spilled alcohol on you earlier young master! I couldn't bear seeing you all soaked and cold because of my clumsiness! So I tried throwing the rock to let the anger out. I'm sorry you had to witness that."
I bow my head in apology and open one eye to steal a glance at his face. Did it work?
"You were...angry because...you almost spilled alcohol on me?...there was no need to get so frustrated over my well-being...but, I thank you for your concern"
Huh? He's... touched? Seriously?I rub my eyes incase I'm seeing things. Maybe I'm hearing this wrong.

I'm utterly confused, this is all hurting my poor brain, but at least he isn't going to behead me. So I can roll with this I guess?
