Seeing Gram and Hanse so shocked, I couldn't understand why Hanse, who had remained calm the entire time, was now showing such a bewildered expression.
It was understandable for Gram to be nervous, but Hanse… his reaction caught me slightly off guard.
However, both of them reacted immediately.
"Princess, stay behind me! You are the only future of our empire. If you die… everything will be in vain."
"I'll protect her with barrier magic, so don't worry, Princess."
I let out a sigh, though inside, the sense of danger grew with each passing second. No matter how much I tried to stay calm, my mind couldn't focus.
