Everything happened so quickly, just a lightning blitzing through the night. Tenzin couldn't even process everything inside his brain. For one moment, he was kneeling on the ground, trying to get something firm to hold and balancing himself. Then, in the next moment, the dragon had already had his eyes on him, taking a deep breath as if ready to spout something dangerous. With his ability to detect life force, Tenzin could feel heat rising through the dragon's throat, and he knew that if it was unleashed in his direction, there was no way he would be able to survive.
However, the aftermath of the dragon stomping his feet on the ground was still there, and with the ground trembling violently and there being no tree around him that Tenzin could use to hide his presence, the monk knew that he was doomed this time.
