Ahil turned away, trying hard not to blush and cover his face to not show it to Ira.
Ira quickly came infront of him to see his blushing face clearly and tease him more. "You are blushing for real?" She asked again, making him quickly turn away.
"No, i am not." He replied, feeling embarrassed.
"No, you are." She again moved from her place and came infront of him.
He again turned away, covering his face with both of his hands. "Sister stop it, it's so embarassing!" He requested. His cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.
"Aww, you look so adorable when you blush."
"Stop it, please." He turned towards her "I brought you to see my painting but instead of praising my paintings, you are teasing me." He said sulking. Even if he was sulking, he was still looking so cute that Ira can't control her smile.
"Ok, i am sorry. i won't tease you. " She wrapped her hand arround hus arms "But you look so cute while blushing."
"Sister!" He groaned "The word 'cute' doesn't suit boys! Especially a prince! a future commander!" He whined "You should call me brave, powerfull and smart but not cute." He pouted and looked away pretending to be angry.
Ira laughed, seeing her childish brother-in-law behaving like a child for real. "But i should tell the truth." She replied, making Ahil feel annoyed.
"Sister, please!" He said, making a pitiful face so that Ira will stop teasing him. Raksheet's influence is clearly seen on her. "leave it. Come, let me show you some more paintings." He held her hand and pulled her towards the painting hanging on the wall.
There was a painting in which Ahil painted all the members of kumar family. It is a family portrait with a beautiful background.
Abhiveera and Neisha were sitting in the middle, Ashwant and Avanya were sitting arround them and Raksheet and Ahil were standing behind them. Everyone was wearing the royal attires with their royal crowns.
"Brother, you are really a good painter." She said, staring at the painting with her mouth slightly open in wonder.
"Thank you." Ahil said proudly.
"But why didn't you painted anyone's face?" She asked confused. Everyone is recognisable but they don't have any facial features.
"I don't like to paint face. It's complicated as well as boring." Ahil replied
"Ok. But...." Ira's expression changed, she looked at Ahil with a sad look. "I am feeling left out. Everyone is in this painting except me."
Hearing Ira's words and seeing her sad expression, Ahil got worried, he quickly turned towards her "Don't be sad! I had made this picture a long time ago, that's why you are not in it. But don't worry, I will make a new painting soon and you will also be the part of it." He reassured, hoping Ira's mood to lit up and she would smile.
Seeing Ahil's worried look, Ira tried to control her laugh but at the end, she failed and burst into laughter.
He looked at her confused. "Why are you laughing?"
"I am sorry, i was just joking. I am not sad." She tried to hold back her laughter "I know you have made this painting long time ago so how can I be in it?"
Ahil placed his hand on his chest and sighed in relief. "Ah, sister, you scared me."
"I am sorry." She leaned a bit forward and spoke "By the way, you look more CUTE when you are scared." She again started to laugh after teasing him for unteemth time.
Ahil narrowed his eyes in annoyance and groaned "Sister!"
Ira was in her chamber, sitting on the chair near the window and reading a book. The book she was reading, consists the history and information of Jwalana Kingdom. She don't know much about Jwalana because she was never interested in any political matters or the other kingdoms, to know about them.
Most of the time, she used to stay in horse tribe with Vaayu or with her grandfather who never talk to her about politics or problems he was facing because of other kingdoms to not make her worry for him.
Now, after marrying the crown prince, the future king of Jwalana, she feels that she must have complete knowledge about the kingdom she will rule one day. The way Raksheet and other family members love her, she is sure that she will become Jwalana's queen. So she must know everything about the kingdom whether it is strength or weakness.
Arround 100 years ago, Jwalana was a ignored and useless Kingdom in Dhrattak Empire. The kingdom was like desert because of its geographical location. It was a small state that no one had time to think about and no one was interested in, neither the emperor. Except Agnidhra, the king of Jwalana. To make his kingdom superior and powerful, to increase the prestige and honor of his kingdom, to increase respect for his kingdom in the hearts of the people, and to increase its territory, Agnidhra was making every possible effort, either he has to increase the trade of business of his kingdom or to make his army more powerful, Agnidhra was trying every possible way to make his dream of seeing his kingdom to be most respectful among other kingdoms to come true. Day and night he just kept trying to increase the status of his kingdom.
And somehow, his hard work was paying off. By increasing the trade and beauty of his kingdom, Agnidhra attracted the attention of many other Kingdoms. The goods made from the soil in which no one even wanted to step and the grains grown in that soil increased in demand. The beauty of Jwalana had increased so much that it was not less than a tourist spot. nobles from different kingdoms started visiting Jwalana. The beauty of the place and the humble behavior of the people had won everyone's heart.
Now Jwalana was also getting a good status. The dream of Agnidhra seemed to be coming true. But, it was not his dream to make his kingdom beautiful only. It was also very important for him to make Jwalana superior and powerful, so that he could face every problem and threat that may occur in future.
Often, the small states that starts progressing, many other enemy kingdom or rivals keep an eye on them as to how to subjugate that state and take all the benefits of that state in their hands.
To make his kingdom strong, it is very important for his kingdom's army to be strong and Agnidhra was doing everything he could to make his army powerful. But it was a bit difficult to make the army more powerful due to less weapons and not being able to give good training and all the other suppliments to his army. But this problem was soon resolved, when Prince Abhiveera, the son of Agnidhra, started helping his father in his state affairs.
Prince Abhiveera used to tour across the kingdom to solve the problems. While touring around, he used to keep an eye on everything in his kingdom, every good or bad thing. So that he can know what will benefit and what will harm the kingdom.
Similarly, one day while on tour, Prince Abhiveera and his soldiers were passing through a forest. Although people often avoided going to that forest, saying that this forest was full of wild animals and poisonous trees and plants, the forest is deadliest, Prince Abhivira decided to stay in the same forest for a night so that he could solve whatever problem was there in that forest. And people can use that way without any fear.
That night, neither any soldier nor Prince Abhiveera himself slept. Everyone was roaming in the whole forest, so that they could get rid of the harmful animals and plants there.
There were some plants in the forest which were fatal to a great extent, while there were some plants about which no one knew anything. It would not be right to touch or harm plants that are not known, so the prince brought some parts of those plants with him and asked the most knowledgeable healers of the state and those who have studied about trees and plants to examine these plants.
After examination, when the truth of those plants came in front of everyone, not only Jwalana, but many nearby kingdoms were shocked too.
The plants that the prince had brought were a kind of medicinal plants which are very difficult to find. These plants can be used to cure a dangerous disease, in which people cannot survive no matter how hard they try. One can get peace in this disease only when the person dies. And till then the pain that a person has to bear is like getting scorched in the fire of hell. But finally, the disease is curable now.
The news of these medicinal plants spread everywhere. The surrounding kingdoms started seeking help from Agnidhra to save their people from the dangerous disease. This plant had such good and effective properties that selling it at a low price would not only be a loss to Jwalana but would also be an insult to that plant.
Agnidhra did not miss the opportunity to make his kingdom great and respectable. But for his benefit, he cannot play with the lives of those people who cannot afford medicines made by that plant.
That's why he started selling that plant in such a way that the person or state who is able to buy this plant at a good price, sold them it at a higher price, and those people and the state who could not afford it, sold them it at a lower price they could afford.
And no one could oppose this method because the need of this plant was so much that no one was leaving the chance to get it, no matter what price they had to pay. If they oppose Agnidhra, it could cause them to lose the plant as well as their people's lives.
In this way, the name and status of Jwalana grew more than what Agnidhra wanted and came to be seen as a subsidiary kingdom.
Whatever money he earned by selling that plant, he used all that money to buy weapons and suppliments for his army and whatever money was left over, he used it to help the people of his kingdom.
After making his army strong and prosperous, Agnidhra won many battles and increased the territory of his kingdom.
'hm, his majesty Agnidhra was father of grandfather Abhiveera. As much as I read this book, i am sure about one thing that majesty Agnidhra was a kind and hardworking person. He was a great king who care about his people and kingdom. He indeed worked hard to make Jwalana this much prosperous kingdom. It is their sacrament that every member of the Kumar family is very kind and gentle. Especially my husband. He inherited all the genes of his great grandfather.' Ira thought, sipping the tea from cup. She turned the next page and was about to continue reading when suddenly a knock happened on door.
