Afterwards, he pulled out a handkerchief and began cleaning the blood off his shoes. He glanced around to see the shocked faces of men, women, and children staring at him. Apparently, their fight had spilled into a family's apartment.
He gave them a polite smile and then left through the human-shaped hole he had created, dragging Emmet's dead body along with him. He went to find Myrah, still dragging Emmet's corpse through the building. She was in the room with the rest of the ladies. He knocked on the door, and was greeted by the red-haired girl.
She frowned at him until she glanced down and saw little Emmet lying on the floor with his face bashed in. Her demeanor changed completely. She stepped back in shock, which opened the way for the other girls to see what was happening.
Their faces were filled with utter shock. The blonde girl, Sarah, was the first to speak.
