Chapter 7: Seriously? Goblins again?!
Change of POV: Sung Jin-Woo
A week has passed since I killed Hwang Dongsuk and his group.
I finished secret Quest behind Daily Quest, thus earning [Key to Demon Castle] Dungeon, I was planning to clear out the Cerberus but..
I remembered something very peculiar.
Sung Jin-Woo has two months worthy of daily quest's before he challenged Cerberus and barely won..
Which means that my [Secondary Character: Querehsha] would barely be able to win, just like original Sung Jin-Woo did. But I'm uncertain of trying to do so yet.
"It's too dangerous, I need to wait two months or at least one month so I could heavily injure it with my [Secondary Character: Querehsha] and thus steal the kill, jumping right now would be equal to death.." I mussed to myself. But thankfuly, there is other way around it.
I took out another key from my {Inventory} and honestly, I'm too lucky with these Dungeons! It's D-Rank dungeon called [Realm of Goblins]. Another fucking Goblin dungeon, but since it's D-Rank I should be able to earn a level or two in it if I clear every monster and their boss.
"It's not like I have anything better to do. Jin-Ah is in school, and I already completed daily quest, yet it's barely 1 PM. Today I won't work as Miner nor Porter, so at least I should LEVEL UP Once or twice."
I stood up from the couch before going to dress myself into my favorite track suit, the black one.
I had to fumble around my room till I found it.
"And this week, besides doing daily quest's constantly, I also started working as porter for C-Rank Dungeons more, and even as Miner for B-Rank. Now this might as well make huge butterfly effects, but what can I say. I need to earn money for myself, Jin-Ah and for mom's medical bills.."
Ok finished I stood up before pulling out the key I needed.
[Realm of Goblins]: D-rank Dungeon full with only Goblins! Insert the key in Sung Jin-Woo's bedroom to access the dungeon!]
"For some reason, these Goblin dungeons come handy too many times.. Like for example, I needed to use key in hospital for the first one, and now I must use it in my room?"
That's convenient, too convenient.
But I won't complain, I really don't care as long as I can get stronger!
I inserted the key into my door's keyhole before another doors replaced my own.
The new doors are made from steel but colored green from what I see, and strange but golden markings of unknown origin in middle of the door.
"Weird golden circles huh?"
I ignored them for now, but had to marvel for just one second.
I took the handle of the doors and twisted it before opening door.
And I see another cave.
"Seriously? Cave, why so many caves.." I muttered to myself as I walked into so called Dungeon, and sound of doors 'locking' itself echoed. But thankfully, there are torches all around the walls so i won't need to worry about light any time soon.
"I'll clear this out in 1 hour at max, I even saved up [Full Recovery] just in case." I smirked, and soon enough as I walked around, I meet my first XP.
A group of 30 or so Goblins, all wearing their own weapons and armors. And some of them are even wearing steel armors, I suppose that's one improvement from E-Rank Dungeon at hospital.
Nevertheless, I summoned my weapons, [Sword of the Goblin King] in right hand, and [Kasaka's Venom Fang] in left, and my gloved hands holding them swiftly before I leaped at group of approaching Goblins.
Battle didn't last even a minute.
My [Sword of the Goblin King] easily slashing and chopping their heads and limbs easily and [Kasaka's Venom Fang] literally cutting through them even easier but if they survive from initial slash, they die next second due to venom.
Did I ever describe how [Sword of the Goblin King] look like?
It's one meter long sword, but lean and thin. Green colored blade with western handle design. And golden like markings on the handle. All in all, it's fine sword for a beginner.
So, after slaughtering first group of Goblins I moved to next group of 20 of them or so.
They all easily fell to my blade, no survivors.
And so, I was in cave for 30 minutes already, and I have defeated every Magic Beast in it, but albeit, it's not like there were many of them, just 80 of them or so.
"I didn't really count, but does that really mattes right now? I'm gonna finish that Boss and hopefully level up just once, otherwise all this charade was useless." I said with conviction before I entered what appears to be a boss room.
It looks very similar to the first Goblin Dungeon I entered.
Wide and big cave-like room, with throne in the center of it.
But funny thing, Goblin Boss was not seating on the throne but..
My [sense] status warned me of Danger coming from above, and I jumped from my previous position just in time.

And this time, this is supposed to be stronger variant of the Goblin King I defeated before easily?
I grinned, this guy just shows my progression. Before when we fought, his name is now colored white.
Meaning, it's much weaker than me. As expected. I easily killed him when I was Level 13, and now I'm Level 23.
But that's now where my attention is caugh.
His sword, it's a Great-Sword, long of about 140cm together with handle, it's one handed Great-Sword too.
It's design is similar to my [Sword of the Goblin King], Great-Sword is green, imagine western sword, but now imagine it being the size of Ichigo's first shikai.
Now you get it, I hope.
" I want that shit!"
I hope I can get it as a reward for defeating the boss.
I accidentally activated my [Skill: Bloodlust] which caused it to quiver for moments, but I appeared already in front of it in that moment.
With one decisive strike of [Sword of the Goblin King] I chopped it's head off as it was sent flying away.

"So I wasted 30 minutes for eliminating D-Rank Dungeon and barely got LEVEL UP?" I sighed, it's okay, I got key to C-Rank Goblin Dungeon variant now. Hopefully there would be two LEVEL UP's,
[Due to [Player] clearing [Realm of Goblin] D-Rank, he will returned to reality!]
And my surrounding shifted, and I found myself in my room, standing in front of my doors, still clutching my [Sword of the Goblin King] in my right hand.
I immediately returned it back into {Inventory}.
I'll drank a coke or something rest up for 30 minutes before I grind once more.
Mini TIME-SKIP
1 hour later!
IN [Realm of Goblin] C-RANK Dungeon.
"These annoying goblins evolved!"
This dungeon is different very much so from previous one.
Number of goblins increased in this one, that was first obvious improvement.
And every single Goblin is wearing steel armor, complete body set, it's still easy for me to chop them in pieces with [Great-Sword of Goblin King] without any difficulty.
But that's not the major improvement, the real improvement is their intelligence. They are always ambushing me somehow, from ceiling, under floor, anything they can think of. Even setting several simple traps just in case.
Dealing with that was easy, but just annoying. But..
How is this C-Rank Dungeon? There has been no real difference between previous Dungeon and this one?
"The only one who can make a difference could be Boss. So, how strong is Goblin King of this Dungeon, i'm curious. I hope I earn at least 1 level otherwise this was a complete waste of time though.."

I cleaved and slashed through the dungeon, and finally..

Here he is, one and only Goblin King, still sitting on that throne made of stone.
But this Goblin King looks almost exactly same as previous two.
But there are two key differences.
This one uses Axe as his weapon of choice.
And his name is orange.
We are equal..
I immediately took my stance, taking out [Kasaka's Venom Fang] and [Sword of the Goblin King] from my {Inventory} while also returning [Great-Sword of Goblin King] back into {Inventory}.
I blinked.
It was a mistake.
Goblin King was in front of me. I scrambled to block his attack by positioning both of my weapons in front of his attack, his attack launched me away from my position.
'His strength is greater than mine!' I groaned, this will be a worthy fight, I can get experience from fighting him for sure.
In Mid-Air I spinned before successfully landing on ground.
Goblin King was on me. His Axe aimed to cut me from above vertically, but this time I was ready!
I dodged his attack by moving sideways and attempted to cut his arm.
But he actually had brain, Goblin King moved his axe enough so my attacks wouldn't cut through his arm but would land on the steel handle of his axe.
"Tsk!"
I turned around before running from him, he is hot on my heels right now, Just meters away from me.
"KAK!" He growled as he slowly is managing to catch up on me.
Hmm?
I suddenly stopped running, turning sideways, allowing him to pass where I was I.
Or at least that's was hot iwas supposed to be.
He slashed at me with his axe once more, this time horizontally .
I narrowly dodged it while squatting down, thankfully it was success. After all, his axe aimed at my head and it was easier to evade.
~THUD!
Goblin King crashed into wall!
I immediately jumped on the chance and tried to stab him, but alas I wasn't so lucky, he blocked my stab after my stab by placing the head of his axe at each point I was about to stab.
It happened so fast that I tried to stab him at least ten times.
"GUH!" I grunted as I was kicked away from him, well by him.
How can I win against him? He is physically stronger, faster. The only way I can do so would be by either outsmarting him or I jus tneed one simple cut to make on his body. That's all, and I win.
We continued fighting.
Our exchanges turned from minute into minutes.
We were exchanging our blows for at least five minutes for now.
I'm getting tired and I'm loosing stamina quickly.
But it's not like Goblin King is not any better than me. He is also breathing heavily like me tired..
Tired.
Battle of attrition!
I was fucking dumbass!
I have [Full Recovery] not used!
I can win by battle of attrition!
I slashed, blocked and parried more of his attacks while I'm running from him.
I know now, I'll wear him out tthen I will use [Full Recovery] to slash him with [Kasaka's Venom Fang] then I will just stack Paralyze . Just Like I did with Giant Arachnid Buryura.
Our exchange prolonged for one minute more, till I couldn't take it anymore.
[FULL RECOVERY]!
Immediately, all fatigue disappeared, but scratches this Goblin gave me remained.
But they won't after I kill him hopefully.
With my fatigue gone, I no longer was running 2 meters from Goblin King, my returned strength allowed me to speedblitz his tired form easily.
In second after I used [FULL RECOVERY] I was 10 meters away from him.
This gave this so called Goblin King a pause and confusion as it tiredly breathed while it was trying to kill Intruder after all this fight.
But..
After I was safe distance from Goblin King, I turned around to face him before running at him with my full speed, he didn't have enough strength to block all my attacks.
Out of five attacks, he blocked three with his axe and the moment he couldn't block fourth attack it was his loss.
I just keep stabbing him furiously with left hand holding [Kasaka's Venom Fang], thus stacking Paralyze on him constantly, while with my right hand I was holding his axe tightly, if he manages to avoid paralyze just so he doesn't cut me in half.
[LEVEL UP!]
[LEVEL UP!]
