"Mr. Watson, starting tomorrow, I have to return to the office. I'll only be able to visit Dean for three hours each night," Claire said calmly after dinner.
She had been staying at the hospital with Dean for nearly a week. It was time to get back to work, she couldn't afford to delay any longer.
Gilbert looked momentarily stunned and glanced at Dean. Clearly, Claire had already prepared the boy mentally, he appeared composed and at ease.
Gilbert nodded.

Claire finally returned to work at Zanna Perfume Shop.
"Ms. Miler, there's an important dinner engagement tonight. The guests are from Innovation Corp, and they've requested the company's legal representative to attend, it's a matter of respect," her secretary informed her just after Claire had cleared a mountain of pending tasks.
Claire paused.
She really didn't care for these social dinners.
Besides, she hadn't been home in days and had hoped to go back early tonight to see Hilary and Adam.
