Remember I told you not to give me power stones because they're useless? Well, keep on not giving them to me, since I still don't know what they're for, other than being in the power rankings.
So save it for those authors who ask for those little stones by chapter, because, at least for now, I don't need them.
What I would like to ask is that you leave a comment on the fic, whether it's good or bad; I don't really care; if it's good, great; if it's bad, as long as what you write makes sense and is something constructive, then I'll accept it.
What I'm interested in is the little star that appears, the rating, so some comments, I don't know, like "I'm coming from the author, so 4 stars." I'm not asking for all 5 stars, but rather that the number and the yellow stars appear there; After they appear, if you want, don't comment anymore, because that makes me happy; with nothing else to say, let the chapter continue.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been about three days since the Celestial Dragon incident. Morgans did a good job publicizing the situation, which left the Marines a bit in a bad light, but it's still true. Besides, with the debt they left us, I don't regret that their reputation has fallen one bit.
Zephyr, Kuzan, and Anna had already left, so I could rest easier. With them around, I didn't know what might happen. I don't see myself beating Zephyr or Kuzan in a fight right now. And with Anna, I probably wouldn't want to see her in a fight.
Of course, before he left, Kuzan gave me a den den mushi so I could communicate; he told me it was an idea from an acquaintance. The important thing is that we can now communicate with other people; when we leave, I'll give Morgans the den den number.
Also, even though we declared our presence on Sabaody, no new pirates have arrived. And that's bad, since they're our main source of income.
And speaking of money. With the pirates still around, we captured them all and managed to pay off the debt, but we were only left with 1,300 bellies. We're basically out of debt, but we're still poor. Right now, we're living off whatever Hun can get. Great, Hun, one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Right now, we could say we're working, since we have no other methods of getting money.
Arthur and Sulli are cleaning ships. The good thing is that a large merchant ship has arrived and wants to go to the New World, so in exchange for cleaning it and all that, they'll let us go with them when they set sail.
Trini is in a secluded spot at the Sabaody Merchant Station; she's selling the potentially valuable items Hun brings. From a distance, she looks like a gypsy or something; I feel like I'm going to get ripped off if I get too close. (Note: I have no idea what Roma people really look like, but from what I've been told, I can say they're not on my "green list." I also see Roma women selling clothes and jewelry; maybe it's just my imagination.)
Isis was holding a sign outside a restaurant, as if she could see her own face, and handing out flyers to passersby. She wanted to work as a waitress, but the positions were full, so that's all she could do.
I was working at the same restaurant, but as a sous-chef. The job wasn't as stressful as I expected, perhaps because it was quite relaxed compared to my childhood training.
Let me tell you, due to our financial situation, these people took advantage of us and paid us a pittance. In the three days we've been here, we've earned about 10,000 shillings; plus whatever's left over, we have 11,300 shillings. Not enough for the six of us.
Life is miserable.
The ship that will take us to the new world will leave in three days, so we have these days to generate another 10,000 and a little more if possible.
*Three days later*
Today is the day we leave here and head to the new world, but before we go, I have something to do. In the end, we were able to get 35,000 belly; however, we had to sell the board games I bought with the system. Since they were new and interesting, they sold for a good price.
Right now, I was heading to a blacksmith; I had a bag with two different ores with me, one being seastone and the other titanium. Both were obtained through the system for 20,000 LP.
Once I got to the blacksmith, I immediately made him a deal. The deal was as follows: in exchange for the two pieces of ore I had in my hand, I had to do two things. I had to continue the following story:
He spoke to me after the incident, where he offered to modify the Buster Sword, turning it into the Fusion Sword, as a thank you for having "killed" the celestial dragon, since one of them had taken his mother a long time ago. I had rejected his gift, but he insisted, so I accepted, and today he gave me the sword, ready with its sheath.
The guy immediately agreed, since titanium was a mineral never seen before, and it was almost as durable as adamantine, plus the added bonus of having sea stone.
After discussing a few things with him, which involved how to better care for a sword or weapons in general, I returned to where the others were. Of course, I wore the sheath I bought in the system along with the Fusion Sword.
Previously, the Buster Sword didn't need a sheath since, like Cloud, it also used a magnet on its back. But since the Fusion Sword is a weapon that separates into six separate swords, if you want to store more than one separately, you'd need more magnets, something that wouldn't fit well on your back, so sheaths are better.
After walking for a while, I arrived at the meeting place, which is where the boat that would take us on our journey was. The four of them were there, since I always count Hun as a person, especially now that he can communicate with us.
When I arrived, everyone looked at me suspiciously, and it was obvious why. All eyes were on the sword.
Trini: "Nice sword. How much money did you have hidden from us to pay for that?"
Dante: "Zero belly, and believe it or not, this was a gift."
(Note: Hulk never weakens, believe it or not.)
Trini: "Oh, really? I'd like to hear your little story," she said with her arms crossed.
There I had to tell the story I made up about the blacksmith and all that; I don't think I should say it again.
Dante: "If you don't believe me, we can go ask him."
Sulli: "The ship is leaving in 30 minutes; it's obvious we won't be able to make it there and back." I knew that too.
Isis approached me, looking at the sword. Her eyes were shining; I'd forgotten she's the little girl among us. In fact, Arthur's birthday is next, as follows: Arthur on June 1st, then Sullivan on October 4th, then I come on November 24th, followed by Trinity on March 19th, and finally, Isis on April 19th. Right now, it's May, the same month the pirate king died. So it's been two years since the voyage began.
(Note: I searched and couldn't find the day Gol D. Roger died, so I made it up to maintain some chronological consistency and not get lost in the years the fic progresses. Also, according to me, Dante should be 15 by now, but he's still 14. That's because I made up his birthday at the last minute, and it was around chapter 14 or 15. So, regarding these year numbers and all that, don't take them too seriously, since they're mostly there to keep me from getting lost.)
Dante: "You want to see it," I said, while Isis nodded. When I unsheathe the sword and show it to him, Arthur will also join in the amazement.
Arthur: "It's different from your other sword."
Dante: "Yes, it has the same final design, but it's made differently; this is a sword composed of 6 blades."
Isis: "Great, I can hold it." Now I nodded.
I extended my back so she could grab it by the handle, only for it to instantly fall to the ground when I let go of the sword. As it hit the ground, it also took Isis's hand with it, and the moment it hit the ground, her hand shattered, turning into air. Thank goodness she had elementized, or else her hand would have been broken and crushed.
Everyone watched as Isis tried to lift the sword from the ground without success. Remember, the Buster Sword was made of steel. But this one is made of adamantium, a more durable and resistant mineral, and therefore much heavier than steel.
After a few attempts, Isis gave up, followed by Trini and Sulli, who also couldn't lift the sword even slightly. Finally, it was Arthur's turn. He was able to lift the sword, only to lift it about 40 cm off the ground and then couldn't do it anymore, dropping it; he looked like one of those people doing deadlifts.
Once the whole show was over, I picked up the sword from the floor and left it in its sheath for the others' complaints. Truth be told, I wasn't very good with the sword either. If I faced someone strong in the New World, I'd most likely tire myself out with the sword and lose. So I need to train with it to increase my stamina and endurance.
After checking that we weren't missing anything, we boarded the ship and departed for the New World.
Being a merchant ship, it passes through Marineford, not Fish-Man Island. It's a little sad not to see any mermaids; let's be honest, who wouldn't like to see them? At least while I was on Mary Goise, I didn't see any, since my family wasn't much for that.
Another person who was a little disappointed was Arthur, as he also wanted to see beautiful mermaids; you could say it's the wet dream of a lumberjack who works near the sea.
The others were a little curious to see the fish-men, but that was it. Sulli is still half-enchanted by Trini; mysteriously, she must have a brain tumor that makes her think that way, so the mermaid thing didn't interest her much.
Dante: "Relax, maybe we'll have a problem with the law that will force us to cross from Fishman Island to the next one to see the mermaids."
Arthur: "Maybe."
Trini: "Maybe not, better; we won't get into trouble just for wanting to see mermaids."
Dante: "Party Pooper." I whispered, but she still heard me.
And so we continued until we reached the other half of the Grand Line. When we crossed the Red Line, we decided to stay well hidden, especially me, since they might recognize me.
Once we were in the New World, nothing really important happened. We just traveled from one place to another. There were clashes with a few pirates, but most of them were not very powerful.
During this time, we trained and traveled from ship to ship. I was increasing my strength and stamina, as well as practicing imbuing weapons. I haven't achieved it yet, but I'm close. Arthur did the same as me, so there's not much to talk about there.
Trini was training to awaken her Haki, which was a bit complicated, since awakening Haki is something that comes naturally to you. The training that follows is more linear, but the awakening is more individual.
Isis doesn't really need Armament Haki, so she was training her Observation Haki. The same goes for Sulli; since she's not a "fighter," she doesn't need Armament Haki.
These were the first few weeks in the new world. It's worth noting that we were only able to obtain the bounty from a single pirate, so, in theory, we were still short on money because we spent more than we earned. An urge to find money was growing within us again.
**Somewhere Else, Somewhere Else*
???: "Father, these people are attacking our territory again. Who do we send to stop them?" said a young man with blond hair to a giant blond man who was sitting drinking. This giant man was Whitebeard, still in his prime, without canes and without illness.
Whitebeard: "Send Juuzo this time; it's not that complicated; it'll also do him good to stretch his feet, since we haven't had a major confrontation since Roger."
???: "I'll tell him right away, Father." He said it from somewhere on the ship.
Whitebeard: "Something tells me I'm going to have a problem out there that will make me regret many of my actions." He said nothing while continuing to drink.
