Under the star-filled sky and moonlight, Jin wore a visible look of annoyance as he stared at Jules.
But he understood the young man's reasoning and cursed silently.
He removed a pendant and held it in his hands.
"Look at the picture," he added in a serious tone. "Make sure you return it immediately."
What would I even use it for? Frame it?
Jules nodded, catching the pendant that was thrown at him.
Despite knowing they were related, he was still curious to know what picture it held.
He flicked it open and saw a picture of a small, red-haired girl with white wings that made her look like an angel.
She sat beside a standing boy–a younger version of the man who stood in Jules's presence.
He wore a bright smile as he placed his hand on Bryloria's shoulder, prompting Jules to exchange glances between the young man and the pendant.
Damn. He really loves her this much? Sure he isn't under a spell?
Jules couldn't help but quip inwardly.
