John got up, stretched and looked at the clock. The manual device kept on ticking at the regular speed, even if the time was dilated. It let John get an accurate read of how much time passed for him. Devices with an internet connection let him compare that to what time it was outside. So far, Magoi had done as advertised.
John opened the curtains. Daylight flooded in, too bright for his liking. One piece by another, he dragged his clothes from his inventory to his body. He contemplated what to do next. Just because he was no longer pushing himself as far as he was physically capable didn't mean he should waste time unnecessarily.
