Though the man's face remained calm, a hint of urgency flashed in his eyes.
This person was the leader of a sect located not far from Stone City—the Radiant Light Sect. Known simply as Master Baiguang, he possessed strength comparable to the Stone City Lord himself and had reached the rare and powerful Super Grade Realm.

To the City Lord, if Senju Yukika decided to interfere, their chances of securing the treasure would vanish entirely.
After a brief conversation in the hidden chamber, Master Baiguang left. However, instead of leaving the city, he entered directly into the main residence of the City Lord's estate.
Just then, while meditating in his room, Master Baiguang suddenly caught a faint, unique aroma in the air.
Though it was just a wisp, it pierced through layers of walls and floated precisely into his nose!

Still, he asked cautiously, "Young man, who are you? Why are you here?"
Thinking quickly, Tanaka replied, "I'm a guest of the estate. I came here with the master."
Tanaka was smart—he deliberately implied that he had powerful connections, hoping the man would back off.
But what Tanaka underestimated was the extent of Master Baiguang's greed.
Baiguang let out a cold laugh. "You? A mere low-level martial artist, a guest of the City Lord's estate? That's a joke!"
Without warning, he extended his hand, fingers splayed. "Hand over the pill."
The implication was clear: he had already seen it.
The rich aroma filled the room, making it hard for Baiguang to keep calm.
Though already in the Super Grade Realm, his recent cultivation had stalled. But he was absolutely certain—this pill could push him past that bottleneck.
Tanaka panicked. He realized now that this man was a robber in disguise.
Yet, the pill was incredibly important to him—there was no way he'd give it up so easily.
Tanaka clenched his jaw and shook his head firmly. "You can't just take it! That pill belongs to me!"
Baiguang's smile twisted cruelly. "So what if I take it? Everything in this estate belongs to me if I want it!"
As soon as he spoke, he lunged forward like a savage beast. His hand, like an iron claw, slashed through the air, causing the very wind to explode.
Tanaka felt as if walls of force had closed in on him from all directions, freezing his body in place. He couldn't move.
All he could do was watch helplessly as Baiguang seized his wrist, causing a sharp jolt of pain. The pill slipped from his grasp.
With two fingers, Baiguang snatched the pill from mid-air and immediately turned his attention to it.
The pill was about the size of a longan fruit—glassy green, translucent, and radiating an intoxicating fragrance.
Baiguang's eyes burned with vicious greed.
"A top-tier pill! Rare and priceless!"
He couldn't help but gasp in awe.
But in that exact moment, behind him—someone else appeared.
