Lysara studied Seraphine's face, searching for any sign of deceit, but found only determination. Kael stepped closer, nodding in agreement.
As the four set off toward the Citadel of Aeloria, the forest around them grew eerily silent. The usual chirping of birds and rustling of leaves was replaced by an unsettling stillness.
