3rd person POV:
In The middle of the night, Emilia-sama and sister returned with that... thing.
He was bathed in the witch's scent, it was so foul and disgusting that I had to strain myself from choking him to death in his sleep.
Now, he's working in the mansion... near my beloved sister.
He was suspicious. He knew how to handle almost anything that was asked of him, cooking, cleaning, washing, sewing, knitting, gardening, trimming. anything you can think of.
'He is good at everything. He did make some mistakes from time to time but he fixed them after a single demonstration from us.'
'His cooking methods are unfamiliar but the dishes he makes are delicious.'
She stopped and began to remember something. She frowned, confused.
'So what happened? After the first day, he became much more sloppy, his confident steps became heavy and burdened. And his smile...'
Rem remembered his smile in the kitchen on the first day. It was genuine, warm and sincere.
"But now..."
She hissed in a low voice. Her hands curling into fists as the smile he gave them became strained as if he was burdened by a great force. As if he's hiding something.
"He needs to be dealt with."
Rem said, her eyes shone with a murderous glint as she looked out of the window in the front yard where two individuals were present in the moonlit night.

The scene showed the mansion surrounded by darkness as nighttime fell.
in Roswaal's office where the clown was sitting on a chair with a pink-haired maid sitting on his lap.
"How has Subaru-kun been since then? It's been five days since his arrival. We should be seeing something by now."
"Cooking, laundry, cleaning... He is decent at all of them."
Ram replied while sounding a bit flustered.
"How strict of you..."
Roswaal mused as he rubbed Ram's head.
"And? What of his potential as a spy?"
Roswaal narrowed his eyes.
Ram looked up as she nuzzled her head into his neck.
"I cannot deny it exists, but I believe the possibility is slim. For better or worse. For worse, in particular, he's too conspicuous,"
Ram closed her eyes and rested against the clown.
"And if he's too conspicuous... Despite that possibility he certainly is carefree. As I personally see it, it would be wise to interfere."
Roswaal looked out of the window and inspected Subaru as the boy was sitting in the garden watching glowing spirits playing with Emilia.
"They're both only children. Even if we let them be, nothing will happen."
Ram said to her master as she looked at the two from the window.

The scene points at Emilia and shows many beautiful glowing lights around her while Subaru stared from the side with awe.
"It's not that fun to watch, is it?"
"Nothing is ever boring when I'm with you, M'lady."
"That makes me happy, even if you're only flattering me. But it would have made me happier if you'd drop the formality. "
Subaru raised his hands and conjured multiple small glowing orbs of gold as they floated around emilia.
"It may sound like flattery but it is the truth that I never feel any sort of boredom when I'm with you."
He replied in a formal tone with a courteous bow, acting like a true butler.
"Stoooop ittt!"
Emilia whined while pouting cutely, her arms softly hitting him in mock anger making Subaru break his formal tone and laugh softly.
"Hehe, but I have yet to finish my job for today M'lady, so you're currently speaking with natsuki Subaru, the manservent of margrave mansion. Not natsuki Subaru, Emilia-tan's best friend."
He explained, holding both of her fist softly in his palms while smiling at her as a sudden melody began to play out of nowhere.
Subaru's smile dropped while emilia's pout turned into a beautiful smile.
"You're off duty now!! So drop the formal tone!"
Subaru sighed and chuckled, falling on his back onto the soft green grass while still holding Emilia in his arm.
"Do you want me to? E-mi-li-a~"
I whispered softly in her ear, my arms wrapped around her. Emilia turned redder than a tomato, her body shooting upwards.
"Stop teasing me! Idiot Subaru. Or I'll punish you!"
Subaru burst out laughing at the embarrassed silver haired half-elf.
"And what will you do to punish me, Emilia-tan? You're too kind to hur-HAHAHAHAH ST-STOP W-WAIT!!!"
Subaru began laughing as Emilia began to mercilessly tickle him.
His only weakness which she found out after accidently brushing against his armpit, making him flinch during their late night story session.
After few minutes of relentless tickling, subaru Laid on the grass gasping for air while emilia stood triumphantly above him, a smug grin on her face.
"E-emilia-tan you're so cruel."
He whispered between deep breathes as he sat up, his hand raising up to his head, brushing them back before smiling up at her.
"Hmph! You forced hand Subaru! Now, as a punishment you'll tell me another story!"
"Another one? You're just like the kids in the village, they never get tired of listening."
"You do seem like you'll be good with kids, subaru."
A sudden idea popped into his mind as he stood up, a excited smile on his face.
"Hey, why don't you come to the village with me? We can play around with kids and animals and their are multiple beautiful places I wanna show you! Tho you'll need to be a little careful with the animals. Specifically puppies."
Emilia's smile turned sad and hesitant as she fiddled with her fingers while looking down.
"Its not that I don't want to, but-"
"Emilia."
He cupped her face in his hands and made her look at him, a reassuring and gentle smile on his face.
"Just trust me."
Her eyes widen a little before a beautiful smile appeared on her face as she nodded in agreement.
"It'll be a date then."
"What is a date?"
Uhhh it's when a boy and a girl go out together and do fun stuff."
"Oh, okay. Then it's a date!"
Subaru smiled and leaned in to plant a kiss on her forehead before taking a step back and turning away from the now crimson half elf that looked to be on the verge of exploding.
"Its getting late. Come, I'll walk you to your room.

I walked through the hallways of the mansion that I have been living in for the past 5 days.
The runes were still active and they still put a huge strain on my body but it was getting bearable to work without feeling the urge to puke out my organs.
'Well, no pain no gains, I suppose. The progress is faster than before but it is my first time stacking so many training runes on my body.'

I stopped walking and turned to look at one of the doors before walking up to it and knocked.
"I'm coming in, beako."
Opening the door, I was met with the site of Beatrice sitting on her stool, still reading.
"What is it that you want now, I suppose."
She asked without even giving me a glance. I chuckled in amusement and placed a small pink pouch on her table.
She finally looked up from her book to first look at the small pouch then at me with a eyebrow raised.
"Just a little snack for you. I made some cookies and thought I'd give you some. Now, don't stay awake for too long!"
I said and left the library, leaving behind a confused spirit.

I laid on my bed, unable to even get a wink before shooting up with a flustered expression.
'What should I do! I've never went on a date! What am I supposed to do!?'
I took a deep breath before falling back on the bed, trying to calm my racing heart.
'Calm down, she doesn't even know what a date is, you've got this peter!'
With that thought of encouragement, I closed my eyes and let my body loose sensation.
And before long, I was asleep.
I opened my eyes to bright of the sun entering from the window.
I smiled in excitement before it froze at the site of the glowing letters floating in front of me.
"...what?"
