When he got out all he could think about now was trying to get back to his ex partner. He decided though his best course of action was to go home. It was still broad day light outside but it was genuinely insane just how tired that Krow actually felt like all of his energy had been drained from doing what he did. He eventually after going through the city had made it back home. Just to see Melissa in his front door step." Why are you literally in my front door step to my apartment?" Said Krow with confusion as to why she was already here. " I need your help follow me" was all Melissa said to him still with her monotone voice.
Eventually though after going through the city more they arrived at an abondon building it felt like hours the sun almost setting." You know I have to ask you about the system that the mayor has it's appearently under the city do you know anything about it?" Said Krow though before Krow could do anything else Melissa vanished. With the words I'm sorry I love you . Looking like they came from her lips as tears started streaming down the sides of her eyes as she vanished into thin air.through something he wasn't quite sure what it was it looked like a scroll and all around him several guys wrapped in black appeared they looked like assassins.
Krow knew what he needed to do he saw these assassins all around him some in front of him some in the back it looked to be 8-9 of them. Though they did not wait they took the initiative and immediately tried to strike him with long katanas knives and ninja stars even. Though Krow was one of the top ten fastest in the continent he would not fall to simple stuff like this. He grabbed a metal pipe on the ground and started dodging the strikes from the assassin in front of him and dodging the ninja stars from assassins to the side of him. Using his extreme speed he ran on the side of the concrete all surrounding the building. He didn't realize it before but they took him to an area that was trapped.
an area covered by the entrance to the abondon building and on the sides concrete with plenty of hiding spots all around them. He didn't really take time to notice it before but now he knew it. After dodging strikes from multiple assassins he hit them back with the metal pipe immediately knocking one out and throwing the metal pipe at another knocking another out 7 to go. He grabbed the ninja stars from the ground as fast as he could. AS the assassins came more this time 3 of them around him trying to slice and dice him dodging nearly all their hits just getting grazed. He used the ninja stars to lodge them in the three assassins heads with blood gushing out their forehead. Even using his legs to kick them away from him. Then launching the ninja star at one of them.
Only 4 of them left. He yelled out" Who's the next one huh!!" Said Krow just for the rest of them to run away Krow knew this was the first time they attacked him but it wouldn't be the last time. That they would attack him afterall he was one of the strongest people from the agency he knew it wouldn't be over soon. Though more then anything he felt betrayed by Melissa. How could she betray him like that. It didn't feel right to him at all that she did something like that to him honestly he needed to get his revenge maybe not against Melissa but against whoever orchestrated this whole scenario in the first place to attack him. He made a vow years ago to protect those close to him he wouldn't let anyone around him get hurt.
With only minor injuries happening to his face and the side of his ribcage he went to the person he knew would heal him the best, his sister. He felt hurt on an emotional level that Melissa betrayed his trust though he knew that a day like this would come especially the way he left the agency. It had been hours since the fight had happened but it kept replaying in his head. Eventually he arrived back to the house of his sister and he decided to just lay on the front door steps of his sisters house now. Lighting a cigarette and staring at the night sky stars he knew he wanted better for his life. Perhaps he needed to become a better person afterall
