"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"
With a loud voice and in pain, Jason screamed out in shock as he sat up.
"W-w-w-where am I? What happened? What's going on?"
He panicked as he was looking around feeling disturbed and seeing himself in a science lab, while he was on a spring bed.
He had an oxygen mask on, and drips connected to his veins.
Jason then decided to stand up and leave, but as he attempted, he fell down on the ground hard.
"Ah fuck!"
Him just lying down there, couldn't feel his legs.
A brown haired, dark skinned lady wearing a lab coat then came and helped him up, before placing him on the bed back.
"Who are you?"
"I am Jade Nelson."
"Where am I? And what am I doing here?"
"Well first of all, I saved your life literally, so you are welcome."
Jade walked and sat on a chair then came closer to Jason.
"What's your name?"
She asked
"Jason Jordan."
"Wait seriously?"
"Yes. What is it?"
"Your dad, Thomas Jordan yeah?"
"Yep. What do you know about him?"
"My father Nate Nelson was a quantum physicist, he had two partners Thomas Jordan and Homa Brown. They all were studying and developing nanotechnologies… When they finally made a breakthrough and became the whole reason why we have nanotech in Nigeria, there was a dispute between them. My dad was able to build this secret lab before he was killed… I had no leads on his killer since both his partners died too."
"No way! I never knew my dad was so this."
"Yeah it's surprising I understand."
Standing up to pour a glass of water for herself and Jason.
"Do you have any suspects initially?"
"Well I suspected Homa Brown, but he was killed."
"Wait Brown, did he have a son?"
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"I know a rich brat, Oscar Brown."
"Hmm good intel, saved and stored."
"Now I have to leave so I can return to my sister."
Jason tried to stand, but then Jade stopped him saying.
"Before you go, you need an upgrade."
"What do you mean?"
"Just watch and see."
Jade then brought a wheelchair and placed Jason on it.
She rode him to another end of the lab, where they saw a large transparent vessel.
"Come on, let's go."
Jade helped Jason and placed him into the vessel, before shutting it tight.
Immediately, three tentacles came out and attached to Jason's back of the neck, spine, and waist.
"Hey! What's going on?!"
Jason began hitting the wall of the vessel as panic filled his entire being
"Patience Jason, patience."
Jade then picked up a tablet and was prepping up.
"Stacy, let the transformation begin."
["Yes ma'am"]
A voice spoke, her artificial intelligence as Jade tapped a button on her screen.
A sea green liquid began to flow into the vessel, till it was filled to the brim with Jason trying to find his way out.
"Just calm down and let it do its work."
Jade said with a soft voice as Jason fell unconscious.

Jade extracted the liquid out and placed Jason on a spring bed, then waited for Hun to wake up.
Eight good hours passed before he finally woke up.
"Welcome back to Earth."
"W-w-w-what."
Jason said muffled as he opened his eyes and sat up quickly.
["His eyes are now golden."]
"What did you do to me?"
Jason gasping for breath, was looking around again like a strange man, in a strange land.
"HAP."
"Hap?"
"Yes HAP. Human Advancement Program… It's a serum I developed. In simple words it makes you a superhuman… You looked too weak to be a hero."
"First of all, ouch. Secondly, what?"
Jason then stood up on his feet as Jade rolled a mirror to his front.
"Woaw! I looked good."
Jason exclaimed as he saw himself. He was taller, muscular and buffed.
"Come let's take a walk."
They both then went out to an open field.
"So, what are we doing here?"
"Go over to that caravan."
Jason did as Jade told him and he walked to it. It was a pretty far distance, but relatively close.
"Alright I'm here!"
Jason yelled as then this happened.
He turned around, and saw missiles coming towards him, up to four.
"What the fuck!"
He exclaimed because he was moving normally, but the missiles were moving slowly as they headed for him.
Seeing this, he walked out the way of the missiles and away from the caravan and immediately—
BOOM! BOOOMMMBOOOOOOMMMMM!!!
"What just happened?!"
"You just moved at the speed of sound!"
"Wait what?! You are joking right?! This isn't real yeah?!"
Jason masked with confusion couldn't believe what was happening.
"Nope."
Jade then pushed the button of a remote controller in her hand and more missiles fired and came at Jason.
"Shit! She means this."
Jason then stood still and watched.
And just like before, the missiles moved slowly as they came at him.
He then dodged them all,
BOOM!
Turning,
BOOM!
Spinning,
BOOM!
Twisting, and
BOOM!
Flipping backwards.
BOOM!
And as he landed on his feet, he caught one last missile in his right hand, before dropping it on the ground.
"Heads up!"
Jade gave out as suddenly a large caravan dropped on Jason.
Jason instinctively threw his hands up to stop the caravan, and to his surprise he did.
"Arrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!"
He groaned as he lifted the caravan up and threw it away.
"You see, then you were weak, now you are stronger."
"What else can I do?"
Jason stretching and feeling it asked.
"Curious huh? Lovely… Well you have a healing factor. That's all that's expressing at the moment."
"Oh nice. I'm truly speechless."
"Why don't you go for a run round that track."
Jade pointed to the track ahead as Jason went.
He stood, then took a running stance.
Feeling the air going in and out of him, it was like he could feel his surroundings and see things differently.
Closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, exhaling and opening his eyes.
Jason ran with great speed round the track in less than 15 seconds. He did it continuously as he was going, raising dust and the wind, creating a slight whirlwind.
"Woooooooooohooooooooooo!!!!"
"Jason come inside I have a surprise for you."
Jason stopped running as the whirlwind subsided and he went back inside.
On getting in, he saw Jade holding a tray on which had a smartwatch, ring, and necklace on it.
"Chose one."
"Hmm."
Jason thought, and then picked the smartwatch.
"Lovely choice… Now tap the side of the watch."
Jason did as she said and lo and behold, he was left speechless.
From the watch, a black suit began to form on him. Attaching to his skin, it covered him entirely.
Jason then stood in front of a mirror and saw himself.
The suit was smooth, and looked metallic, but it was flexible and flowing with his skin.
The mask of the suit was holographic, meaning that the eye slits moved together with his facial expression. On his chest, his symbol was there, the letter 'S' golden and shaped like a lightning.
Then on his back were two one edged swords sheathed across. On his waist, golden utility belt, and by the sides two automatic plasma shooting guns. Knives slotted in different spots of the suit.
"Now you are Shadow."
["Alert miss Jade"]
"What is it Stacy?"
A screen then popped up and displayed.
["Wraith has escaped from prison."]
"Alright, we'll handle it"
"What do you mean, are you—"
Jason asked as he was interrupted by the ceiling opening up and be was sucked out and shot into the air.
