Chapter 29 - Leaving Planet seisymy

Two hours later, the engines of the starcruiser roared to life as Julian and Rehul tore through the skies of Seisymy, leaving the Empress's sultry empire behind.

Rehul was bound with a handcuff, and with the way Julian made it look, it seemed as though he was taking her away to be brutally killed.

This was what he had said about her before they left:

"And this vicious being here goes with me, to be killed!"

The little citizens of Seisymy had responded with shouts of support.

Julian even heard from soldiers:

"Start from the throat, just peel it off!"

"Kiss her lips and kiss her neck, all with your sword!"

"Thrust through her stomach with your fists!"

And the last (perhaps best):

"Fuck her ass with your sword."

Julian had smiled at all the suggestions, knowing he wouldn't be doing any.

Nonetheless, he responded with a:

"Thanks for all your suggestions, but I won't be needing it. I've got my way of killing off this daughter of the Imperium, and it's even more vicious than the ones you just suggested."

Gasp!

Gasp!

Gasp!

They gasped.

He had also embraced Hurijaa, smooching her for a very long time and pressing and squeezing her boobs and ass before coming outside.

He didn't fuck her though (you know why.)

The last words she had said to him were:

"Be ruthless but be careful. Because soon I'll see you again…"

Rehul had told him she knew how to ride a spaceship.

That was what he was most excited about.

He didn't know how to ride a spaceship. The spaceship that brought him here had literally ridden by itself.

And about the spaceship.

Well, he left it for them.

They sort of did an exchange in a way.

He left them the last Zyros spaceship and collected something even better.

A starcruiser.

As he held the steering and stared at Hurijaa's curvy body one more time, he could only but smile.

Meanwhile, Rehul was seated by his side, whispering to him on how to control the spaceship and lift it upward.

Soon he steered the starcruiser, and it was very high in the sky.

Now, he used his gravity manipulation power to control the handcuffs bounding Rehul's hands to break.

Crannnk!

And then they swiftly exchanged places, Rehul now being the one riding the spaceship.

Now completely out of planet Seisymy, Julian looked back at it, noting that it now looked misty and like something without life, looking all cloudish.

Rehul smiled and faced Julian.

"Damn! I didn't think they would fall for it, but as it seems, looks like your plan worked."

Julian grinned.

"I never doubted it would."

"Thank you for saving my life," Rehul said. "I owe you big time."

"Not exactly. You'll help me, you know," Julian said, leaning more comfortably. "You'll help me big time."

Rehul smiled sexily and leaned towards Julian to give him a kiss.

A short one, actually.

Julian noticed (yet again) that anytime he kissed her, it tasted so good. Like she had this pungent, nice-smelling perfume attached into her mouth.

Silence hung around as they looked forward.

Julian was feeling very proud at the moment. Proud that he just kissed two different ladies in the space of ten minutes, and both didn't know he wasn't kissing the other.

The stars stretched like scars across the black canvas of the galaxy. Some blinked red, others flicked like heartbeats. Seisymy faded behind them, just a silent, glowing dot now. Ahead… nothing but endless dark, dotted with fire.

Julian couldn't name the constellations. He didn't care. Each one was probably the grave of a sun, the wound of a war, or a beacon for something older than life itself.

That wasn't his business, as he wasn't too bright with stars and how they behaved and even the whole galaxy stuff.

It felt kind of disappointing though, if he was to come out and say it.

'I'm a Galactic Knight but I don't know how the galaxy works.'

Haha.

With what Xea had briefed him before he began this journey, it had said that he needed to drive further away from Seisymy and planets even, and when he reached a place which was free of planets and nebulas and was just dark, having just dotted stars.

He should activate the skill that would repel the starcruiser to the floating planet at the end of this galaxy, face off robotic-looking monsters, and try to enter the portal in time.

'Spend not less than two days.'

The words echoed.

Julian sighed.

He was 'almost there.'

It might sound fun banging curvy alien women, but if he thought about it, he kind of wished none of this happened.

He wished the invasion never happened, or even if it did, he wished Zyros was at least like Seisymy, who had a really good defense and a crazy (in battle, though) ruler who literally, with a small bomb-like stuff, would be capable of exploding the whole army of the troupe the Imperium sent.

But again, he remembered something he heard from an old Zyrosain back when he was still little.

It was:

'Sometimes some people have to die so others can live.'

Thinking about it now, it actually sounded amusing.

It seemed it was the reverse for him. In his case, it actually was:

'Others have to die so somebody, just one person, can live!'

---

Rammm!

The starcruiser spun around, shaking vehemently.

Something had hit it.

Rehul lost control of the steering wheel.

Thank goodness she had her seat belts on, or she would have been going through the window and careening downwards.

Julian, on the other hand, was too brave to use a seatbelt, and the effect of the ramming almost jolted him off his seat if he didn't have gravity powers which steadied him.

Julian and Rehul exchanged puzzled glances, and just before they were done doing so, the starcruiser shook again with great force.

Julian immediately flew up, Rehul letting the roof of the starcruiser open a bit to let him out.

Thoom!

Julian plunged upwards, the roof closing back as he did so.

He looked around, trying to find where the problem was coming from.

He even flew higher so he could get a closer view of the starcruiser but saw nothing on it.

The ramming had even stopped.

Julian suddenly became alert.

His helmet wasn't on his face, but at this moment, he summoned it on.

His heart beat faster.

Eyes glowing a bright red.

His head throbbed with suppressed energy.

His veins shook with suspense.

He waited.

Nothing happened.

He flew downwards a bit. He could see Rehul looking through the window of the starcruiser.

He wanted to look away, but then, he saw her waving, calling him back to look at him.

It seemed she was telling him something.

Her mouth was moving fastly.

Julian shrugged at her, waving his hands to ask what she was trying to say.

Was she calling him to come back?

Or…

Was she warning him?

He couldn't say.

He looked to his left and to his right. He could see nothing.

But then, with a frantic motion, she pointed forward.

Julian hesitated for a moment, but then realized…

Before he could turn back…

A rough, steel-like fist drove into the side of his neck.
