Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 — Giants Beneath the Abyss

The clash of titans and monsters rolled like thunder across Little Garden.

The Abyss Gorilla Corps surged with terrifying discipline, unlike the wild beasts they once were. Armor clanked, halberds flashed, and the coordinated silence of the attack sent chills through the jungle. No war cries, no hesitation. They fought like extensions of a single will — Ravro's.

Dorry and Brogy were not caught off guard, but even they felt the tremor of unease. They had fought countless beasts over the last century — monsters, pirates, sea kings. But nothing like this. These creatures bore no fear. No weakness. They did not just attack — they hunted.

"This is not a skirmish," Brogy growled as he parried three simultaneous strikes, his axe cleaving through a dozen-foot tree as he turned. "This is a test."

Dorry grunted, his greatsword repelling a coordinated flank. "Then let's show them why Elbaf remembers us."

They roared in unison — twin bellows that shook the canopy. Trees snapped. Predators scattered. Thunder cracked without lightning.

And yet the Abyss Guards pressed on.

Even when impaled, they crawled. Even disarmed, they tackled. Even with limbs broken, they bit, clawed, struck. It wasn't rage driving them.

It was faith.

Faith in the one who stood at the edge of the battlefield, watching like a god among men.

Ravro D. Flare did not move. He did not issue commands. He merely was.

Still. Absolute. The jungle bent toward him unconsciously.

Beside him, Mihawk's eyes remained locked on the battlefield, but even he said nothing. He recognized what this was.

A ritual.

A crowning.

Velra stood at Ravro's side, spear resting calmly against her shoulder, her crimson hair flowing in the wind. Her eyes shimmered not with anticipation, but with trust. Trust in her king to dominate the very essence of giants.

Finally, Ravro stepped forward.

The moment his boot touched the trampled jungle, silence fell.

A pressure unlike any before settled over the entire island. Even the sun dimmed slightly, as if the Abyss was asserting itself over nature.

The System whispered:

[Threshold Met. Title Ability Unlocked: "King of All Who Roar."]

[All Allied Units on the Battlefield Gain +20% Combat Efficiency.]

[All Enemy Units Experience Mental Resistance Debuff.]

Brogy paused mid-swing, his brows furrowing. His axe trembled ever so slightly in his grip. Not from fatigue.

From instinct.

"What… is that?" he muttered, eyes narrowing at Ravro's approaching form.

Dorry lowered his sword a fraction. "That's no commander… That's the throne walking."

Ravro raised a hand.

Immediately, the Abyss Guards halted. Every single one dropped to a knee in unison — a single, perfect movement. The battlefield stilled as if time itself had obeyed.

"You have roared long enough," Ravro said, his voice calm, but echoing unnaturally far across the clearing. "But the world no longer hears you."

Dorry growled, stepping forward with defiance. "We don't roar for the world. We roar for Elbaf!"

"Elbaf has forgotten you," Ravro replied smoothly. "And the seas have moved on."

That struck deeper than any blade. For a moment, Dorry faltered.

Ravro continued.

"I am not here to kill you. I am here to offer resurrection. Elbaf remembers its kings — but the world only remembers conquerors."

Brogy stepped forward now, breathing heavy. "We do not kneel. We do not serve."

"You already do," Ravro said, tilting his head. "You serve tradition. You serve a duel that will never end. You serve a question with no answer."

He walked between the broken bodies of his soldiers — none dead, only kneeling. Their eyes glowed faintly, but their devotion burned like fire.

"I offer you war. Not against each other. Against the world that buried your names."

Silence.

Then the giants stepped forward.

One step.

Then another.

Until both stood before him — close enough to strike.

But they didn't.

Brogy knelt first. Slowly. Begrudgingly. But with honor.

Then Dorry followed, placing the flat of his greatsword on the ground in a sign of peace.

"We will not bow to a tyrant," Brogy said.

Ravro's eyes glinted.

"Then it's a good thing I am not one."

Mihawk approached at last. "A worthy choice," he said simply. "Their strength is unmatched."

Velra said nothing — only smiled faintly as the jungle itself began to tremble. Not from battle. But from alignment. The island was recognizing its new lord.

Robin descended from the ship, her journal open, her gaze locked onto Ravro.

"You did it," she murmured. "You turned myth into obedience."

Ravro turned toward her. "I don't want myths. I want nations."

Behind them, the Humandrill Abyss Guards stood again — no longer merely warriors.

Now they were an army.

Now they were led by titans.

Now… the world had reason to fear.
