Still with flashback
On a quiet night, Recandra sat on a city park bench with Kayla, who was resting her head on his shoulder. The dim light above them added a romantic ambiance to the moment.
A teenager with a guitar walked toward them.
"Would you like to request a song, guys?" he asked with a smile.
"Sure," Kayla replied with a smile on her face.
"Yes, go ahead, you choose the song," Recandra added.
"Okay, thanks babe."
"Can you play 'All of Me'?" Kayla asked.
"Oh sure, I can play that," the teen answered, then started strumming his guitar and began to sing:
What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawing me in, and you kicking me out
You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down
What's going on in that beautiful mind?
I'm on your magical mystery ride
And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright...
...I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh
His melodious voice combined with the sound of the guitar made Kayla truly enjoy the song. Her eyes were closed, as if she was lost in it.
"Thank you," said Recandra, handing over a hundred-thousand rupiah note.
The teenager nodded. "You're welcome, sir," he replied as he accepted the money.
"Excuse me, then," he said before walking away.
"You like the song?" Recandra asked as he gently stroked Kayla's head.
"I do, especially with how beautiful his voice was."
"Why don't you just go with him then? That way, you could enjoy his voice anytime you want."
"No way! No matter how beautiful his voice is, I only want you."
"Really? What if someone better than me comes along, will you leave me?"
"Listen here, I don't care if he's more handsome, richer, or whatever—what I want is to be with you. Period. No comma."
"Are you sure? Don't just make sweet promises."
"Of course. I'll stay with you no matter what."
As Kayla said those words, Recandra looked into her eyes, trying to spot any lie.
But what he found was only a gaze filled with genuine love.
"Promise me."
"I promise," Kayla replied as she hooked her pinky finger with his.
The night grew late, the park more crowded. Kayla, in her usual affectionate way, rested her head against Recandra's firm chest.
"Would you like to meet my family?" Recandra asked while gently brushing her hair.
"Sure, so I can get to know them," Kayla replied.
"Alright, let's go before it gets too late," Recandra said, softly pulling her hand.
The two of them walked toward the parking lot, fingers interlaced.
"I'm not sure they'll accept me..."
"My parents will definitely accept you," Recandra said with a smile.

Five minutes later, Recandra arrived at his house. They got off the motorcycle, and he held Kayla's hand as they entered.
"Whoa, coming home with a girlfriend, huh?"
Clara teased with a smile.
"Mom, this is my girlfriend, Kayla," said Recandra.
"She's my mom, Clara."
"Nice to meet you, Auntie," Kayla said with a smile.
"Alright, you two sit down. I'm busy," Clara said, then walked away.
Recandra and Kayla sat on the living room couch.
Kayla scanned every corner of the spacious room. On the wall hung several paintings that were clearly expensive.
"That's your family photo?" Kayla asked, pointing at one of the frames.
"Yes, that's my family photo."
For some reason, Kayla stared at the photo intently, feeling something odd about it.
She took out her phone and, without Recandra noticing, took a picture of the framed photo.
Looking at it more closely, she was a bit surprised, but Recandra didn't notice.
"They look so alike. I need to investigate this," Kayla thought.
"You wait here," Recandra said as he stood up.
Kayla returned to her phone, studying the picture again. It looked familiar. Then, she opened an old photo stored on her phone.
"So similar," she whispered softly.
She then used a facial recognition algorithm. The result: a 99% match. Seeing this, Kayla's suspicion grew even stronger.
"Thinking about me, huh?" Recandra suddenly said, appearing with two glasses of steaming hot chocolate.
"You flirt," Kayla said, covering her now-blushing face.
"Here you go, it's already warm," Recandra said as he placed the cups on the table and sat beside her again.
"You always know just what I need," Kayla said as she sipped the hot chocolate.
"Of course I do," Recandra replied, chuckling softly.
