East Cloud Academy — Central Technique Archive — Midnight
Less than twenty-four hours remain until the final assessment of the "Mentor-Level Simulation Battle." Members of the Magic Department are scattered throughout East Cloud Academy. Some are adjusting techniques, some are reviewing calculations, and some are lost in silent meditation. There is no formal gathering, but everyone knows that tomorrow will be the day that determines if the Magic Department will truly "rise."
[Mentor Evaluation System]

📌 Simulation Level: Quasi-Military Rank: B+ to A
📌 Evaluators: Five current "Mentor-Level Combatants"
📌 Assessment Criteria: Structure Completion, Coordinated Tactics, Tactical Adaptation, and Practical Combat Value
At the same time, Feng Ke stood alone on the rooftop of the formation tower.
"Are you really ready?" A voice came from the wind. It was Livia Ains, standing by the railing in combat attire. Her silver hair flowed in the breeze, and her gaze was as calm and sharp as when she was the "Red Joker."
"No one can truly be ready for a Mentor-Level evaluation," Feng Ke replied calmly. "I can only hope the team improves quickly enough on the 'Tactical Structure System.'"
Livia stared at him for a moment.
"The formation you chose isn't traditional magic. It's a tactical structure chain. The cost is that you must play the roles of magician, strategist, and commander simultaneously."
Feng Ke smiled lightly. "Didn't you teach me that yourself?"
"Hmph. That's because you aren't suited for a pure magical path," Livia responded tersely. She took out a small magic board from her pocket and handed it to him.
"This is a remnant of my formation: EX: J-Strain · Illusory Disruption. You can try it in tomorrow's test, but don't use it on team members you don't trust."
Feng Ke took the magic board, a serious look in his eyes.
"Are you willing to support me now?" Livia smiled and turned to leave. "It's not about supporting you. It's about supporting those foolish members who still believe magic can overcome everything."As night deepened and the wind grew stronger, Feng Ke stood alone atop the magic tower. He looked down at the academy while holding the magic board with a heavy expression. He understood that tomorrow was not just an assessment battle. It was the real starting point for whether the magic department could step onto the "tactical stage."

Livia Ains: "It's better to believe in those willing to wager their magic than to believe in magic itself."
