"Hmph, if you don't know how to climb, then learn. A young man who can't even sneak into someone's house—how could you ever hope to become a proper thief?" Viper said as she smacked Dusk on the head.
"Huh?!"
What the hell? Since when did I dream of becoming a thief? She's obviously just messing with me!
Though cursing inwardly, Dusk didn't resist. Resistance would've been pointless anyway.
Viper dropped the teasing and started climbing into the house. Dusk followed closely behind.
As they slipped inside, Viper kept a close eye on Dusk's movements. The corner of her mouth curved up into a sly smirk.
'Hmph, you think you can fool me? Those movements were way too professional for someone who claimed to be clueless. Just who the hell is this guy?'
She was suspicious. Dusk's skills weren't something an average citizen should possess.
Everything he did screamed criminal background—or maybe military or police training.
