Newcastle City.
One of the biggest cities in the Mandarrian continent.
A place polished and left for the rich.
With one look, one could easily tell.
From the towering skyscrapers to the neon lights that added life to the streets.
Then the luxury cars that lined the scrappers—
Cars, when sold together, could easily feed three generations.
The very air of this city spelled luxury.
Not just anyone could afford an apartment in this area.
In one of the luxurious scrappers, a man stood overlooking the entire city like a hero waiting for the next place the villain could possibly turn up.
Nathan wore a deep frown on his face.
A glass of wine was tightly held between his index and middle fingers.
He looked down at his wrist, checking the time on his pure golden Richard Mille watch.
"It's just about time," he muttered to himself, when suddenly, his phone rang.
He slid his hand into his pocket, pulling out his phone.
"Sir, we found her location."
"Took you long enough," he said with a somewhat angry growl.
The man on the other side of the phone shivered slightly, feeling the goosebumps climb up his skin.
He knew what an angry Nathan could do.
"I'm sorry, sir. It was hard to pinpoint her location. She went into hiding for some time, but we tracked her down."
Nathan didn't react much.
He was in no hurry to find Naya—that was why he was yet to have the man's head for wasting his time.
But if I find you this time, I'll make sure I don't leave without your head, he said to himself with a deep smile.
"Spare me the long talk. Tell me, where is she at the moment?"
"Sure... We've been keeping track of her for some time... She went to meet someone," the man said.
"Meet someone?" Nathan raised a brow suspiciously.
Of course he had to be suspicious. He wasn't just dealing with anybody.
He was dealing with a cardholder. Who knew what kind of tricks she could be pulling?
Not only were they gifted magical abilities that could help them blast fire, freeze the air, or do other crazy things... but they were primarily gifted with the ability to tamper with people's emotions, tilt the market to their favor, and do other crazy things.
With all those dangerous abilities, he didn't need anyone to tell him how careful he had to be with Naya.
Using her fears was indeed a great tool—enough to break her up. But even a scared mouse would steal from the cat if given the chance.
"Sir, it's the last son of Jin Monrrow."
Nathan's brows knitted together.
The last son of Jin Monrrow?... Is he a cardholder? No, he can't be. Group X wouldn't give a privileged person a card, he paused for a minute.
Not that they couldn't give privileged people cards, but those who were privileged from birth could possibly get everything else they wanted.
For that reason alone, getting a privileged person would be a lot tougher for Group X.
Not impossible.
But tough.
As much as he hated to admit it, the only reason why he had taken the deal from the Group X member was because he couldn't see a future in the life he lived.
Reminiscing over those days, Nathan couldn't help but throw a bitter chuckle.
He left the man wondering what would make his usually cold boss laugh.
"Have you figured out the reason why she wants to meet him?" Nathan asked.
If anyone is to be a member of Group X, then it definitely can't be his last son... It could either be his father or the other siblings.
Although the news wasn't made public or anything, the majority of the wealthy people knew the game the old man placed among his kids.
Many admired it, while another group questioned his thoughts.
But that wasn't what led to Nathan's confident thoughts on the matter... Rather, it was the mention of the word last.
Everyone already knew that the last son of the billionaire seemed to show no interest in the competition at all.
While his siblings were busy making their own names in the different companies they were building,
He was yet to make any actual advancement, other than spending his father's money on simple needs.
If my speculations are correct, then she'll probably be trying to use him as a link to his other family members... To know if any of them are cardholders... As expected of her, Nathan smiled, like a cat that cornered a rat.
"Sir... Apparently, they happen to be on some kind of date?" the man said, unsure as he watched the scene in front of him unfold.
Nathan's smile dropped down to a frown at the reply.

Caleb had a grin on his face as he waited in front of the classic coffee shop where he had told Naya to wait for him.
The black Lamborghini was parked directly behind him, Herald sitting behind the wheel.
Caleb, of course, wore a high-class outfit for the date.
A well-fitted blazer, crisp shirt, and tailored pants—made from quality fabrics that feel as good as they look.
It was stylish without trying too hard, giving off quiet confidence and a natural charm that made a lasting impression.
Caleb looked to the side, sighting the black car that was parked not too far away from the coffee shop.
His smirk widened into a devious grin.
Naya walked out of the coffee store after seeing his car parked outside.
Caleb smiled, seeing her beautiful figure.
She wore a tight red gown that complemented her smooth, fair skin and accentuated her beautiful figure.
Her hair was tied into a ponytail with a jade-black hairpin to knot it tightly.
Caleb gave a small bow as he met her, handing her the bouquet of red roses that he had brought along, and a small card.
"Why did you bring a bouquet of flowers?!" Naya's cheeks flushed red for a moment.
"I brought it to compare the beauty, but for some reason, the flower doesn't seem to have any color in front of you," Caleb said with a smile.
The red on her face deepened.
"S-Stop talking nonsense!" she stuttered slightly, taking the flowers and rushing inside the car.
"Do fast and let's get this entire act over with!" Naya yelled from the car, her face held down in embarrassment.
Why does he look more handsome... And his eyes...
Caleb chuckled.
"Yeah, let's get this over with," he said, a smile forming on his face as he tapped on the system's new tab.
