Chapter 460 - Defense

Under the dim light of the Moon God Temple, "Galen's" passionate speech resonated with representatives from various forces! In reality, everyone knew that Archimonde's ostentatious destruction of Suramar was a provocation to all living beings on Azeroth. They came ten thousand years ago and were defeated. Ten thousand years later, they have come again, and this time, Azeroth may not escape its doom.

Kil'jaeden's two conspiracies against Azeroth, the Orcish invasion that destroyed a human kingdom, and the Scourge outbreak that ruined two more kingdoms, in Archimonde's view, these two disasters had severely weakened the vitality of Azeroth's creatures. He believed that by destroying the Night Elves, the world would fall into the hands of the Burning Legion, and no one would be able to contend with him! Therefore, he wasted a great deal of energy to cast a spell capable of destroying a city, just to announce his arrival and to tell everyone that opposing the Burning Legion meant certain death. Unfortunately, he forgot that this was Azeroth. There might be some traitors willing to lead the way, but there would also be no shortage of people willing to resist! And now, the Moon God Temple was full of tough nuts! Everyone who came here was prepared to sacrifice themselves. The sense of responsibility shown by the forces of the Eastern Kingdoms filled them with goodwill, and they felt much closer to the Alliance forces. Archimonde not only failed to instill panic in the creatures of Azeroth, but instead strengthened their resolve to protect their world!

Cenarius looked at the human who shared a name with his disciple, sensing the surging Holy Light within him, and then looked at Galen'Remar. Aegwynn and Ancagalon, one the Guardian of Humans, the other a rising star among the Blue Dragons who had practiced for ten thousand years. The two of them had perfected the Orb of Deception, making it almost impossible to detect any flaws. It wasn't that Galen'Remar looked down on his nominal master, but he really wasn't good at this sort of thing.

"Highlord Galen is right. The Burning Legion only brings destruction. For the sake of Azeroth, we must unite and send them back to the Twisting Nether!" Galen Trollbane and Galen'Remar worked together seamlessly, performing a certain traditional art to perfection. Cenarius was also very satisfied with their support. After many representatives expressed their views, the meeting moved on to the next stage: troop deployment!

This time, Malfurion took over as the host. After some introductory remarks, the Archdruid presented the plan to establish three lines of defense on Mount Hyjal. "We have specifically set up three lines of defense to exploit Archimonde's arrogance and conceit!" he explained. "Within the Mount Hyjal area, the Night Elves have spent ten thousand years building many magical arrays capable of targeting demon teleportation and summoning. As long as Archimonde enters Mount Hyjal, he will be unable to use the portal to summon a continuous stream of demon armies. The second half of the war plan is to block the mountain roads and eliminate the demon armies and Archimonde that enter the mountain!" Everyone had started climbing from the foot of Mount Hyjal and had witnessed the winding and twisting mountain roads, understanding the significance of these three lines of defense, so there were no objections.

After the strategy was explained, Galen Trollbane, representing the Alliance, spoke: "My Eastern Kingdoms Alliance will deploy a total of 200,000 troops, of which 100,000 are our elite human infantry, along with 2,000 High Elf mages, 5,000 Nightborne Twilight Guard, one Dwarven Allied Regiment, one mechanized artillery battalion, and two Gryphon Knight squadrons." Of the 100,000 infantry, besides one legion from Stormwind and one legion from Kul Tiras, the remaining 80,000 were Crusader forces. The High Elf and Nightborne armies also caused a slight stir among the Night Elves, but in order to consider the overall situation, Tyrande and the others could only acquiesce. "In addition, there are also our Crusader vassals: 5,000 Kobold engineering teams and 5,000 riflemen, 20,000 Quilboar legions, and 20,000 Troll guard!" This was a massive number, and the various races of Kalimdor once again took the Alliance seriously as a behemoth! These hundreds of thousands of troops were definitely not all of their military strength. It was said that they were still suppressing the Undead Scourge internally, and their homeland must have retained a large number of troops. One could see the whole leopard from a single spot. The Alliance was not to be underestimated!

"The Tauren tribe of Mulgore will deploy 20,000 Tauren warriors!" Cairne announced.

"The Highmountain Tauren will also deploy 20,000 warriors, including 1,000 Giant Eagle Knights!" Ulan Highmountain added.

"The Night Elf race will also do everything in our power. We have deployed 150,000 Sentinel and Druid mixed troops! At the same time, the Night Elf race will cover all the joint forces' various grains, ordnance, and logistical supplies!" Tyrande declared. Cover all! Look, this was the foundation of a rich family with ten thousand years of heritage! If Galen didn't have a cheat, with Stromgarde's small size, where would he dare to make such boastful remarks?

"The Timbermaw tribe can only deploy 5,000 Furbolg warriors…" the Timbermaw chieftain said, his voice tinged with sorrow. "The demons' corruption of Felwood has caused us heavy losses. If the demons hadn't been slaughtered by unknown heroes, we Timbermaw Furbolgs would probably have had to hide in fortresses to eke out a living!" The Timbermaw Furbolgs were one of the branches of the Furbolgs after the Sundering of the world. There was also a branch in Northrend. Previously, Tichondrius's corruption of the forest almost wiped out the Timbermaw Furbolgs. Fortunately, Galen and Illidan arrived early and cleared out Tichondrius in advance, saving these allies. However, many Furbolgs were still corrupted by Fel energy, becoming mad and unrecognizable. The Furbolgs spent several days suppressing them. Malfurion expressed his condolences for the Furbolgs' plight and promised the Furbolg chieftain that he would provide them with assistance after the war.

At the end of the meeting, Cairne Bloodhoof requested that the Thunder Bluff Tauren's defensive area be adjusted so that it was adjacent to the Highmountain tribe's Tauren. Ulan Highmountain also had the same desire. These two branches of the Tauren had been separated for too long and were eager to communicate. Galen Trollbane had no objections, and Galen'Remar also had no objections. He even stated that he could also draw a batch of high-ranking knights to fill the gap in the Highmountain Tauren's ranks.

Finally, Malfurion detailed the Burning Legion's troop types, while the Alliance side explained the contagiousness of the Scourge and various precautions. The meeting ended, and the Kalimdor Allied Forces were officially established! The Alliance high command and the Night Elf high command began to inspect the first two lines of defense. The Alliance's first line of defense was almost ready. The Crusaders had the Kobolds, a race skilled at digging and excavating, who quickly completed the excavation of the trenches needed for the positions. Over the years, Galen Trollbane had also accumulated some Ivory Towers, which he directly placed on the outskirts of the positions. In order not to reveal the secret, Galen Trollbane first used his own troops to block it off, and then upgraded the Ivory Towers at night! Arrow Towers, Cannons, and Arcane Towers directly turned the Alliance's line of defense into a hedgehog position! Malfurion marveled at the Alliance's technology. Galen made some trade requests, and after Malfurion agreed to open border trade, Galen gifted hundreds of Ivory Towers produced in the Arcane Sanctums, praising them as products of superb alchemy and engineering. It was a pity that Mount Hyjal wasn't his territory, otherwise he would have dragged over 100,000 farmers and turned the entire mountain range into a cyberpunk steel city, which would definitely have forced Archimonde to expend a large number of troops, letting the demons understand what it meant to shed blood for every inch of land
